I honestly think we are better defensively without DP, he is instant offense when he’s hitting. But watching Saturday in person he stands 95% time in both ends. We know he’s capable of playing great D like he did against BYU in the first half but I’d love to see it on a consistent basis.

I am very proud of the guys. They had had so many "moral victories" where they played good teams close without DP but came up just short this year. And today they had had enough of that! They made damn sure to get the job done! What a special group

Some people would argue Arizona has the best front court in the nation and flory and tiller were better than them. They looked like grown men tonight

Shout out to Tre for stepping up and knocking in those FTs after his worst game as a Jayhawk. Feel like he is risking his shot all the sudden.

Daniel Berk, senior associate AD for strategic communications for KU, responded back and said “ The person texting in this video is a contracted crew worker who handles official stats during the game for ESPN. He does not work for KU and is not affiliated with the athletic department in any way. He has no inside information and was speculating. We are handling internally.”
Pretty wacky stuff. I don’t know what to believe at this point.

Most importantly, this was one of the craziest games in the Phog I’ve ever seen. No matter what happens in March, this team will go down as one of my all time favorites. They embody everything that Kansas basketball is about.
