True. It seems nobody knows. I haven’t seen the GL rumor in a couple weeks though. I just hope it does end in the next 7-10 days so Bill and staff can celebrate or move on. Still plenty of talent in the portal , but the longer his recruitment draws out the more the portal talent will dry up.

Final 247 rankings are out
Zach 44 Comp 66 247 down a fair bit in 247 ranking
KJ 67 Comp 78 247 up 8 spots
Bobby 91 comp 87 247 basically unchanged, did get a better grade though
Cuffe 103 comp 101 247 basically unchanged

@Crimsonorblue22 247 has their own ranking - so Zach is ranked 66th in the 247.
In the composite - so an average of all of the ranking sites - Zach is ranked 44th.

If Ochai and Wilson both do not come back next year is not going to be very much fun. I am pretty dissapointed in how Self handled the portal. Seems like we should have been able to land much better talent then we did.

@Woodrow Got just flat out beat for Xavier Pinson and obviously they waited around on TyTy to end up just not getting him.
If it is Wheeler…he looks like Charlie Moore to me…

@FarmerJayhawk All indications are this is correct. Homesick while in Utah does not bode well for him leaving the state of Washington.

I guess the question is (since we screwed around too long, chasing a prima donna instead of picking up another solid transfer) what will our team be if both Wilson and Agbaji return? And we don’t need Wheeler unless we want Harris to transfer. And I’d take Harris over Wheeler any day.

There will be a spot to fill, and Self will fill it. Wheeler seems most likely right now @Marco
Starting line-up would likely be Harris, Braun, Ochai, Jalen, Dave to start the season. Believe me though when I say I would prefer Braun in a bench role.

what about the transfer guard? why would he transfer here to sit on the bench? that would be stupid

@bennie I have no idea what Bill is selling him on. It would be a full ass roster, and you do have to think some guys would end up not being thrilled with their role.

Hit a bit of a wall, got COVID. Trust me when I say playing basketball seems near impossible with COVID.
He’s a hard worker, have confidence he will be one of our best players and improve.

Yeah it was basically his FR year, as mentioned he hit a bit of a wall and had also been scouted. I think he’s really good though, one of the few higher rated players on the roster and that’s not everything but does shot talent is there.

Maybe Braun would be better in that role, we shall see.

Believe is is 5’10’’ now but still tiny.
I would assume that both sides think he would have a shot to play if he comes here. Played huge minutes so far, for admittedly not great Georgia teams.

DAM sure didn’t take long for these so called experts to piggy back did it. - -Washington with like 5 picks to Kentucky , this is what is so dam frustrating why THE HELL Self just kept sitting there all these other goes going flying by cause Self was stuck on Washington. - we could see the writing on the wall a long time ago = - -and Self still sits , you even said yourself along time ago Kentucky had offered and it was over at that time - -Spot on – total waste of time - -would love to see him fall flat on his face just like Kentucky did last year
