Board upgraded.

Ok! Board is on latest and greatest version of NodeBB. Now to clean up a bit. I need to get all the plugins up to latest, so things like emojis, embedded images / videos, post previews, etc work.
The good news is, scrolling in threads now works pretty well (previously, getting to past pages didnt work well at all). And it looks like the search index is right so you can finally look up old posts from yesteryear fairly accurately! (knock on wood).
Let me know what works and what doesn’t and I will sort it out.

Ok, markdown is back. Post preview. Also, I noticed you can create subthreads now under posts.

@approxinfinity Boy, - - -gotta sat - – - you do an awesome job of maintaining this board , takes time and effort for that. Plus of course you have to know what the hell your doing - -something I sure the hell wouldn’t know.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you for having this room. - -A place for me to call home among my fellow Crimson & Blue Brothers and Sisters. - -I still don’t know how to use things in here - - but that’s ok. Just as long as I can express myself with my opinions - - view others posts and just be - a KU fanatic that I am.

Second that!! Just a minor thought…can we get back to a font similar to the one on the old board? Something like Ariel might be a good replacement for New Times Roman if available for the board. But in any case, keep of the good work…I know I appreciate it…and I think everyone who uses this Board does as well!

@ICThawk sure. I just switched the board’s default skin to Readable. I honestly could not remember which skin we had it set to on the old version. Give that a shot and tell me if that looks better. If not, you can override the default in your personal settings here: https://kubuckets.com/user/icthawk/settings
If you find one that works better, let us know? I’ll check it out. I went through some of them but not all of them.
I must admit, recently I’ve ctrl-scrollwheeled up to make the font a little bigger and moved on. These new bifocals I’m wearing are more like nonfocals. I’d definitely be interested in switching skins if one of the others look better.

@approxinfinity I just set my “skin” to Cosmo which I like very much. However, since you have solved my problem re the font, there may be no need to change the board skin for everyone. Again, thanks so much for the Board…and your assistance!
