@BShark and alot of those guys had red flags before even coming. With all that is going on (and Self and the program will survive it), I think that - and he already is, imo - Coach is going to be a hell of alot more particular when it comes to signing guys. We are Kansas, can get quality athletes while still having standards.
I am not a big fan anymore of early enrollees for example, it begs for discrepancies. And I’m not knocking Cuffe, just think that alot of schools are cooking the books and we need to be cautious is all.
-
Texas landed Dillon Mitchell, 4/5star wing.
-
@BeddieKU23 Beard is loading up, no doubt.
-
Chandler Jackson done to FSU
-
5 star Brandon Miller will announce his decision soon. Recently visited KU but it appears long time favorite Alabama would be the choice if he doesn’t go pro
-
@BeddieKU23 Been done to pro ball for a bit now is the word
-
Crazy, only 18 of the Top 100 remains uncommitted at this point.
-
@BeddieKU23 Seems to be a recent trend. Maybe we see more of it because of the way the transfer market changed things. Used to be guys that weren’t top guys could try to wait it out for a better school as people got more desperate in the spring. That isn’t going to happen now with immediately eligible transfers across the board.

Yep, Covid, being able to take visits earlier + the portal definitely puts a premium for a lot of these guys to lock up a spot. It was interesting to see just how many kids have already decided. Not going to complain as a fan, it’s nice to know KU got some guys that your not waiting 5 months from now to try and land…
-
Udeh with 13/12 on 5 for 9 shooting against an OTE team. So I guess those OTE teams are playing prep schools. Lol.
-
Well Miller didn’t go pro like so many thought BUT chose Alabama instead
-
Bama has some strong ass recruiters. Damn.

Whether anyone believes it or not , people saying he was going pro - - -Then when we got added back , I knew there HAD TO BE a reason , if he was going pro he wouldn’t have bothered with re-adding , BUT i still figured we had little chance -we had a chance but little. - - So no real huge surprise , I think I would of been more surprised if he would of went Pro

4 star PG Richard Isaacs committed to Texas Tech.
Recruitment with KU fell off a cliff. His ranking also dipped a bunch. Weird
Reopening his recruitment again. Flags…
-
Once committed Tre White to USC. Plays with MJ Rice at Prolific and have to say White could be a pretty good College Guard/Wing.
-
Top 10 guard Cason Wallace to Kentucky. smh
-
@BeddieKU23 right!
-
@BeddieKU23 Didn’t we already have an Andrew White “The Tre”?
-

-
Andrew White? Who’s that?
-
Couple of moves in the last day. Rylan Griffen committed to Alabama. Mark Mitchell removed KU from his list. Two things we knew but needed the final decision on.

Yep.
We are on our own now trying to find info lol. Chasen was at least a very active reporter on 247. It’s some ghost town shit now on the vip board.

@BShark why is that?
-
@Marco Chasen left for a better job and the replacement just isn’t very good.
-
The KU 247 reporter left for another job and it hasn’t been filled yet.

So what do you all think? Maybe we should get @jayballer67 to take the job.

wow that would be big time. That commitment to Pitt was just weird. Saw Mintz play recently on TV and he looked really good.
-
What position does he play? Combo. Mmm, maybe he’ll sign at KU. Probably not though.
-
He is a combo guard. Good skills with the ball, good size, good playmaker for others, solid perimeter shot. Not sure where we are with him since his AAU team funnels to Nike a lot. I found it extremely odd he committed to Pitt first go round

KU and Florida are the two I think are really in the lead right now. KU pushing hard for an official visit.
-
Thanks that’s promising
-
Would be a huge victory to get him from a Nike school. That said…recruiting appears to be on an uptick and getting Zuby surprised me.
-
Certainly an intriguing option. Definitely has more size the Harris/Pettiford/Yesufu so I can see the need
-
Isaacs back to Texas Tech. Weird one

Staff definitely wants a bigger guard. I think that was the 5th signee they wanted that Bill was referring to.

What do you think? Give me Vegas odds of him signing with us.
-
So what’s the latest with the guy? - - has he set any kind of a time table for a decision or what & how do we sit are we in a good position with him & what do guys think our chances are for him? - Sounds like he would be a good PU
-
I think this kid is 2022 but might be 2023 don’t remember seeing the year in Article. - -Jeremiah Johnson the # 1 ranked player in Oklahoma talking about recruitment # 35 player overall says he has taken 2 unofficial visits to KU. Saying how he like the KU program that KU has shown alot of loyality by staying with him, said he is looking for a program / Coach who stays true to him Biggest thing is probably loyality
-
@jayballer67 gotta like that!
