He can declare. It’s a year removed for your class, so since he would be in the class of 2019, he’d be eligible for the 2020 draft.

Well I see someone - - don’t know who , must have changed their CB pick on Jalen. - we were at 50% for Michigan - - - - and 39% - for KU - -now I see it’s 50 % for Michigan - -to 33 % for KU - means someone must of changed to cloudy from KU

I mentioned this somewhere recently, can’t remember exactly where. But it makes a ton of sense. He’s a guy that really needs to get stronger and develop. Will be a fantastic college player but not right away.

ya that’s what I’m afraid of - -just got this feeling with the hiring of Howard - he re-commits.
Kinda sucks Cause the MAIN two that had recruited him is gone , - -we shall see

From what I’ve read Howard DOES have a visit scheduled with him. - I believe it is on the 5th after he gets back from N Carolina.

My bad buddy, went and checked again - -no I can’t see where he has anything set with them - - -YET - -it is the N Carolina visit that I mistook it for - he is visiting them the 3rd-5th of June,

Well , for what it’s worth. - -Just checked 247 sports and I see that we re-gained our CB Pick. - -Not sure who it was but someone has given us a CB pick for Jalen since this morning. - -The way it is now is - - - -Michigan is at 44 % - -down for 50 % this morning - -and KU - -is now at 39 % - -back up from 33 % this morning so there you go. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@FarmerJayhawk Appreciated. In trying to piece stuff together here I did some looking online. He announced a final four schools previously about a week ago. It would appear that he cut Georgia from that list and added KU.

Losing a skilled, 6’10”, 245 pound performer was devastating to the Crusaders, while being shelved seemingly stunted his on court development.

True, playing would have put him on the radar of more schools, given Riverdale being a known DMV recruiting spot. Nevertheless, via Summer 2017 and running with Team Thrill in ’18, scholarship offers from Kansas state, Georgetown, Illinois, Penn State and Texas Tech have been received. NC State, WVU, Louisville, Maryland Wake Forest and Gonzaga have all shown interest.
That love is predicated on Bilau’s ability to play away and near the cup, including shooting, passing and attacking via face up, while also scoring though jump hooks/shots in the painted area. This Class of 2019 guy can rebound, is solid running the floor and defending the rim from a weakside position.
Recruiters see Catch 22 problem with Bilau; given his immense skill set and stated desire to use it, Josephat can find himself floating away from the interior. Add a need to get stronger as necessary improvement, another issue that can be addressed in college.
Bilau has left Riverdale, planning to attend prep school in North Carolina. He has the chops to be a national level recruit.”

I’m fine with taking a project big. Plenty of guys for this year but lots of looming uncertainty. If he doesn’t come along you move on after a year but he could easily be part of the post rotation in the 20-21 season.
