2020 Recruiting

Coach Self made the statement that this recruiting class could be one of the best he has had for awhile.
There is wording here that makes me wonder other then Bryce. - -Could be that there is STILL another. - -I know there had been discussion , among fans can’t remember if it was from here or another site, where fans posted that this might be a year of surprise - - - maybe a recruit we really hadn’t heard hardly anything about , saying that brings me to this.
Yes I feel a lot of us are starting to feel better with Bryce , but I too have felt we very well could still have another. - -We all know there has been talk about Mitch Red-shirting for the Reasons of needing him worse NEXT year more then this - -up front will be thinner.
All of the above brings me to this possibly. - - -We just offered Frank Anselem a 6’10 from Prolific Prep California - -Frank is in the Class of 2021 but like Javonte has the option of re-classifying to 2020 and is expected to do so he says. - - -So Frank stated about KU : - -
KU is a great School with lots of History and tradition , They are one of the most successful Colleges in America in both Academics & Basketball - - The fans are lit - - - It’s Great. - - I can play the Four or Five , KU runs a lot of Ball screens , so I think I’ll fit perfectly. - - Makes me wonder is Frank a surprise? - -with our thinner front Court next year he might be talking about? - -ranked currently # 60 - -Other Schools interested in him -Oregon - - just offered - – also Arizona - - Arizona State - - USC - -yet you go to 247 and it Shows LSU with 2 CB’S - - - -but anyways - what ya think? - - Maybe another commit? - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I think Coach has a few tricks still left up his sleeve… It’s going to be interesting.

@jayballer73 I think Self was just talking about Bryce in that quote from yesterday. I am not even sure who else they are targeting that would commit early. ( that they are have a shot at)

Evan had his “Ask Evan” questions. Doesn’t appear he knows where Bryce is going yet. Thinks KU, UNC, OU but no favorite at the moment…

As far as I know it’s only Thompson and Robinson in 2020. I think getting Gethro put the kabash on Mading.

Robinson not coming here - -he is almost gift wrapped to Arkansas. - I was worried about them with him - -figured it would come down to us or them - think he is done

From what I read on UNC board they are also very much in play for Kerwin Walton who just visited over the weekend. Could announce this week for UNC taking the last spot. However it also sounds like his Dad said they will check back with UNC in a few days in regards to what movement happens with Bryce or they want to take Kerwin’s commitment. All this is moot if Bryce is already planning to be a Hawk but UNC is certainly portraying its two guys for one spot on their board.

Either Bryce is considering UNC a lot more then we think or the UNC board is selling a lot of souls and subscriptions to keep the interest…

I can imagine if we had some reporters that were plugged into the action like they have on their site we’d be getting similar sunshine pumping as well. Of course there’s always a chance UNC is in fact as much in this as KU or leading but your right why has their been radio silence about it then… Can never tell with these recruitments anymore so I’m just waiting it out like everyone to see how it falls

that’s interesting , cause I was reading the Carolina Insider - -not a lot of talk about Bryce there. - -They talking or focused more on Kerwin Walton - -Or Ziaire Williams for their remaining Scholi - sounds like which ever one commits 1st - - someone did say he fully expected Bryce to stay back here - - I think for the most part from what I have read - -they have seen the writing on the wall. - - -Wither KU – OR OU. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Heard KU was likely the choice a week or so ago and haven’t heard anything since so now reason to doubt it now.
Not sure on the specific date. I do know he’ll sign early.

Might be another exposure deal like the kid down in TX too. Seems Self is developing a nice relationship with Aspire.
I looked at his tape and I do wonder if Virginia Tech and Miami are truly recruiting him let alone Louisville and KU.
