I believe we’re taking Gethro instead but it’s not 100% locked down yet. Memphis is still trying to get him on campus and probably will.

Perfectly okay with Gethro instead of Todd (if that’s how it ends up)
I understand the difference in their talent level, one is clearly better then the other at this stage but Todd is the type of recruit that got us in the mess we dug ourselves in.
You wonder if a recruit like Todd ends up at Michigan if they still had Belein? I would think he doesn’t.

@BeddieKU23 Yeah you would think Gethro would be a 4 year guy which we need. And definitely not, Howard is much more willing to recruit than Belein from the looks of it.

I really could see KU getting a commitment then Todd bolting in the spring. Can’t play HS hoops when fielding offers from pro teams (I think)

Understandable bud , even if we were to get him for a year - would be a sweet addition for us, me myself, I just don’t feel very confident about him landing here - -over sea’s or not

Quite a few folks have asked him about it and he’s never denied he’s interested or it’s a legit option.

Couple of recruit follow ups and what they have been saying:
Javonte Brown Ferguson on his visit to KU : — The KU visit went great , They ( KU ) want me . - -They need two big’s - - - They said IF Gethro Muscadin & Isaiah Todd sign then it wouldn’t be the best thing for me to come. – 70/30 % chance he will be re-classifying and make his Decision after the New Year.
KK Robinson was asked about his visit : - - -Said he loved it. – -The Atmosphere in Allen Fieldhouse was crazy. - - Being able to see Snoop Dogg also was a great experience. - - They ( KU ) said that they weren’t recruiting me to sit the Bench. They are recruiting me to make plays and to be one of the go to guys down the line - - - - Of Course I have to earn it - - - Nothing is given. ( - -Love that reasoning from him ) - - Then he says " I Think I’ll fit great in their system - - sounds encouraging – Coach Self has always done great with little Guards - - -I like our chances with him I believe - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Definitely got the wishful thinking meter up a few notches hearing the fit comment. Those tend to be important details to read in between the lines from. We’ll see, he still has visits left.

Ya , KK - -is visiting Illinois , this weekend - -then he visits Arkansas Oct 18th-20th , still considering Iowa State - - Vanderbilt - - & Virginia Tech
Personally myself I think I would be more afraid of Arkansas then anyone else , and that’s more then anything just because of them being a home School - -possibly with Iowa State following them up - -I feel good really right now - -but watch Arkansas I think this very well could come down to us and them. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Not 2020 but the visit went very well for Kendall Brown. Sounds like he is going to visit again for the UW Milwaukee game.
