He was visibly limping against TCU. So either way he is a bit dinged. Nothing is confirmed either way at this point in terms of an actual release from KSU or a news source.

He had an injury back in HS and had to have surgery on his foot. Still has a pin inside him from that. Seems like he aggravated that injury.

Too bad we’re not playing in Lawrence or Manhattan. Some K-State fan would be holding a sign that says “You’re not in Kansas any more”.

I don’t see any confirmation that Wade is injured other than the link posted above which has no verification or confirmation from a credible source.

@JayHawkFanToo Fitz (KSU GPC reporter) pretty much just confirmed it. Still, whenever there is official word either way I will post that.

He isn’t 100% to sit out the game at this point but he did 100% aggravate his injured foot. Fitz verified this on their 247 board.

So w/e happens it’s a positive for KU. Wade won’t be healthy if he plays.

Interesting. As soon as KU knew Doke was injured the information was officially released. I have seen nothing official from KSU about Wade only unnamed sources.

@JayHawkFanToo The strangest thing is it was quite apparent to anyone watching their game yesterday. So I’m not sure what there is to hide. Gotta keep the KU coaches on their toes I guess.

Hard to believe Squeaky would sit his best player, unless he absolutely has to, and basically concede the game to KU; any other team? Maybe. KU? Seriously doubt it.
