Fran was delusional on Tuesday night. Not sure what his issue was but he needs to review that broadcast and reel it in a bit.
-
Its part of Frans act
-
Confirmed to be OUT against little brother tonight. Iām officially very nervous.
-
Any word regarding DPās availability Monday night?
-
It doesn't really matter if you have Superman if he's sitting on the bench
-
Lets just call him āpart time Supermanā its more accurate
-
A win is a win is a win amirite?
-
Nothing official but he will play

This DP injury is such a mystery . . . that I believe will be exposed by the time of the NBA draft. 1) There was no high school history of injury problems. So, why does he cramp up now? And it's interesting that no one notices him hobbling / limping before he takes himself out of a game. He just sits. Then we see him with heating pads on his thighs. How many pre-NIL Jayhawks would have made every effort to play through an injury like that? We've seen no such effort from DP. 2) If you were an NBA GM, would you draft DP knowing of his college injury history? If he does get drafted #1, we'll know for sure that his year at KU was just a "hold" until he got to the NBA.

@JoJoAndMe Saw a tweet from a press conference when he played for Prolific Prep. DP was talking and coach intervened and said he took him out of the game for the 2nd half so maybe he does have a pattern of this.
-
@JoJoAndMe I could see in second half shoot-around/warm-ups that his bounce was gone and he had a different gait in his walk. Go back and take a look.. It was clear enough to me that I remember thinking "uh-oh, that doesn't look right". I wasn't surprised when he didn't return to the game.
Personally, I think he tweaked his ankle when he came down from the epic dunk in the first half. He didn't do much after that IIRC and it looked like he wasn't moving quite as quickly.
Not saying he didn't have cramps. Just saying he was a less explosive at the end of the first half and he came out of the locker room with evident discomfort.

@JoJoAndMe said in Darryn Peterson:
And it's interesting that no one notices him hobbling / limping before he takes himself out of a game.
Does the coach count? Self said he saw him moving differently in warm ups and asked if he was ok to go.

@JoJoAndMe I've thought many of those same things. He sits on the bench (admittedly cheering his team on) with a big smile, no grimace of pain. And seriously, when you watch your team blow a 21 pt lead down to a 4 point lead, it's time to get off the bench and go do something. No sense of loyalty or urgency. I guess why would there be? He going to go from 1.9 million this year to a hundred bazillion next year. He won't even remember where Lawrence Ks is.

What I have some problems with Makes it really difficult to swallow. I mean your going to tell me IF this is legit that this is a DP exclusive ? Is this the first time that something like this has EVER happened to thousands of basket ball players-- - - Darryn is the only ONE that this has ever happened to? Now if he isn't the only one then there should be history some where? So with all these DR's now days /specialists there is NOT ONE single DR /Specialist that knows anything about ( these so called cramps ) & how to treat them )
The insiders representing these NBA clubs that YES there is concern on his health & could effect his draf status as to where he lands in the draft. So that leaves us with IF these cramps are legit then it looks like these cramps are going to turn Farryn into an injury filled NBA career
Yesterday was the perfect opportunity for Darry to display his talent AND HE DID -------in the First Half. Clearly out played AJ my GOD this kid has got loads of talent and the thing I keep hearing is how effortlessly he makes it look & he did that exactly IN THE FIRST HALF. so frustrating I mean this kid is a man- ---does it all jumpers-- -drives- -he finishes- -steals --rebounds --assists - -does it all-- and YET here w are dealing with this un certainly WILL HE PLAY OR WON'T HE ?
WHO HERE THINKS HE PLAYS TOMMORROW NIGHT ? probably 60/40 he does , but not the full game -
Iām taking the high road after Saturday, DP played his best half of basketball on both ends in the first. To the people saying he just sat there and watched as the team struggled. He really didnāt tho, 20 points was the lead at the half 53-33, with 8:45 left in the game we still led 78-60. Coach said we ran out of gas at that point which probably true but it looked like we just ran clock most of the rest of the game. They briefly had it to single digits with 4:19 to go. I agree with Blias on the call Kansas had zero game pressure til they cut it to 4 with 1:27 to go. Once Melvin hit his shot I wasnāt sweating at all. Letās hope him and Elmarko have fresh legs for Monday.
