KU vs UT = Ticket Alert for Texas Fans
-
Frank Erwin Center for the first time in many many years is offering single game tickets to the Dec. 29th game in Austin, which is the kick-off of the conf. Previously you had to buy a package of 4 or go outside to a ticket broker to get a decent seat. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out. #Rock Chalk

@RockChalkinTexas I’ve never had issues buying tickets directly from the UT Athletics site before. The one year Steve Pederson was AD was the one year KU wasn’t available for single game purchases. That might have been one of highest attended KU games I’ve seen in Austin probably because of that.
Baylor is trying to pull that move of only putting the KU game in ticket packages for a few weeks before making single game tickets available in January about 2 months after every other game went on sale.

Kinda cool being the school everyone wants to see, so much that these special sales protocols get adopted!

@Texas-Hawk-10 I’ve been to all of them in the past 10 years. If you want an upper level $45 ticket, yeah those are available right before a game but if you want one of the lower level seats, season ticket holders know they can make a lot of money by selling their seats to a broker or StubHub. Browsed Ticket City and StubHub as well and the mark up is unbelievable - better than $250 for just one ticket not even near the court and much higher for nearer the court.

I remember a few years back when the conference schools would have red out, black out, white out, purple out and so on when they played KU. Did not help then and special promotions will not help now either.

@JayHawkFanToo Now it is just best for them to Pass Out.
