The conference is 15-3 so far with 2 of the losses by ISU and 1 by WVU. The ACC is 24-9 so technically the Big 12 has a better winning percentage.

@JayHawkFanToo Not sure I would shout from the mountaintop about that 15-3 record. Other than us beating UK, there isn’t a single quality win among the bunch - not sure if any will be top RPI 100 wins. Against Power 5 opponents, the conference is 1-2. Other than ISU’s loss to Milwaukee, about the best that can be said is that the conference has avoided any really bad losses so far.

I certainly understand why we would get nervous, we’ve certainly been down the rabbit hole a few times with recruits we thought were shoe-ins.
Surprisingly I have been very confident with Q for a while. The staffs lack of movement on other recruits tells a big picture here. If that ends up being a key indicator with this one its always something to consider in future recruitment’s.

Of note that Shaka/UT has made a big push for Courtney Ramey. They are not confident and never have been.

It’s over. What a haul. We’re pretty much done recruiting now for awhile. I think only one realistic target left (Langford). And that’s only if Vick leaves. Givony at ESPN is saying Udoka isn’t really on draft radars yet this season. More likely than not we bring them both back than neither as of today. Have fun America.

Vick and Doke back changes next years outlook dramatically with what we have coming in. Without your looking at a complete overhaul. Would be nice to see at least 1/2 return. A 3rd year from Doke would be essentially year 2 for him. Excited at his progression already

Why do all of you suddenly feel we have Grimes now?

I am not shouting from the mountain tops, I am simply saying that all power conference teams play easy games to start the season and when they play tougher games they often lose a few, particularly the bottom feeders; the closeness of both games last night proved that all 4 teams are not that different and all legit top 10. At this time we cannot say what conference will be good or bad since we have not seen enough to judge one way or the other. We cannot say the Big 12 will be good yet but cannot say that it will not be either, that’s all.
Teams, particularly young ones, are still trying to find their identities. There is no question that KU and UK will get much better and teams that look good so far, such as Duke, are one Grayson Allen injury away from being average.

Grimes will push KU to the #1 recruiting class in the nation ahead of Duke, UK & North Carolina.
