Win or Lose?
-
@truehawk93 Frank will be fine, usually on meds a guys can kick anything in two or three days.
-
Just saw that someone put BIFM on urban dictionary lol.

I’m going to predict a tight win, and these things to happen:
- Frank to feel a little better and shoot a little better % than 4 for 13. I still think if he can help it, Self might limit Frank’s minutes. This has been a long season for him, and while Frank is a Wooden candidate, I think pushing him when he’s not well is not worth putting up another 20 point game tomorrow.
- Devonte to shoot more than 8 shots, and make more than 2.
- JJ to regress a bit, on all fronts.
- Landen to get a few more rebounds than 5.
- Carlton to have a big game. Thought he looked good again last game, got a couple crappy calls go against him, and got the “you did some stupid stuff recently so yoink” quick hook by Self. I think Self is going to look for a big game from him sooner or later, and why not tomorrow?
I’ll also predict that Baylor and West Virginia both pick up at least one more loss, be it from us or someone else.
-
I predict we win by 18
-
@Crimsonorblue22 yes, I had bronchitis for several weeks last year - I am quite aware. I was referring to the common “hes tired” excuse.
-
@HawkChamp and you are expecting him to be good in 2-3 days? While playing his butt off? You know I’m giving you a hard time?
-
Yes we’ll win, but I also thought Wisconsin would beat Northwestern tonight.
-
@DanR you going?
-
I saw Frank breathing in the firsts half at the FT line and he hadn’t run for a couple of minutes and he was totally gassed… breathing really hard.
Then I think about how hard these guys run and I realize just how tough Frank Mason is. He is tough! Tough guys are always hard to discover their toughness because they don’t brag or boast about being tough. Their toughest moments are always in silence, as they internalize their struggle and still try to produce.
I thought Frank was going to have a heart attack right there in the game.
-
Glad to read so many people feeling positive about tomorrow.
I’ve got a smile on my face so you all will have to guess my predictions. I can’t predict because I’m the jinx master!
-
Vegas opened at 2-1/2 and it is now at 4-1/2 for KU; however, KU has not covered in its last 7 games.
-
If ticket prices keep coming down I fully plan on attending. Our boys better bring it and get the W!
-
Well I’m glad coach is playing up the Revenge Factor going into this game because we need it. If we were to judge how we played Saturday as a comparison to tonight it won’t cut it against West Virginia. They just don’t play the same type of basketball that almost all of D-1 plays.
Have to win the rebounding edge and make shots. Can’t have Ahmad or Adrian making everything, they are again our biggest matchup nightmares
-
Watch Huggy try and steal some points tonight from James Bolden.
In his last 4 games Bolden has played 26 minutes and scored 36 points including 7-11 from 3. I’m sure if he scores KU fans will go “who is this guy”.
Kid missed all of last year with an injury and is stuck on the depth chart but lately has been tearing it up. Not too many kids can come off the bench, play 10 minutes, and score 17 points like he did against Oklahoma 2 back.
-
With Louisville/Cuse playing before the game tonight there’s a high probability this game won’t end on time
-
@drgnslayr We have been getting everyones best shot all season. It is time for someone to get our best shot. Hopefully, that comes tonight. Josh is going to get better. My opinion is that he is too amped up when he gets to the free throw line. Most of his misses hit the back of the rim. Carlton is coming along and running the floor better. Once he improves on ball security, watch out! Frank has a team, that has his back even if he is not full strength until the weekend. I don’t really comment on recruiting. Once a player becomes a Jayhawk, it’s all good! Outstanding board discussion.
-
A KU win and a Baylor loss tonight would pretty much be the best scenario of events to happen today
-
100% chance Fran is calling the game tonight which mean the mute button is my best friend. Sad that the game will be ruined by him
-
@BeddieKU23 I think Vitale said he is calling the game.
-
@HawkChamp I keep thinking Dickie V will announce he is going to retire yet he just keeps going. I’m looking forward to him stepping away.
-
Think I’d rather have Dick than Fran these days.
-
thanks i hope so
-
@kjayhawks strange sentence
-
That is funny. I did not get the when I read the original post, particularly when “dick” it is not capitalized.
-
My first thought was… "I’d rather have any Dick than Fran these days. Luckily, I capitalized “Dick.”
-
@drgnslayr still?
-
Always. I can change the direction of the world with my predictions.
-
@joeloveshawks I like Dickie V - I would kind of miss him.
-
I decided to post it after you had already pointed it out. I didn’t want to be the first!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Young Lady!
-
Here is a link with ESPN announcers for tonight’s game, luckily, Fraschilla will not call this one…
-
@wrwlumpy u going to flag me?
-
@JayHawkFanToo jumping for joy! Oh I won’t be listening! Happy for u guys!
-
For those who didn’t see it is now a top ten match up as WV has moved to #9 in the AP poll.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Lmao get your mind outta the gutter jk
