Boy K/State is in a real mess with that Basketball program- - -just in Shambles many of the K/State fan base now are wondering if Tang will make it till the end of the year. People saying that there is no way that Gene Taylor isn't out hitting people up so they can Buy Tangs buyout even if it is 18.7 million. AA lot of K/Staters are saying they can't see how Tang is going to be able to recruit ANYBODY because of his last Tirade blasting he players,-- Last night they just flat out quit plain and simple biggest example of not caring was free throw shooter from Cincy missing his free throw and he got the or his own misses shot and slam dunk - - not even touched/contested -
Now they have gotten themselves in a real hell hole not only gonna have to come up with buy out money and then have to have money for new Coach and assistants- makes me just cry-- but not feeling sorry for them but from laughing at them go my ribs aching laughed so much

@ROCKCHALK2025 I honestly think they have to keep him at this point with how unhappy the fan base was at football and the new coach on that front. I’d bet at this point they keep both Tang and Taylor til next year, then fire them both. Tangs buyout drops each season going forward and if Taylor is gone it drops to 50% of that amount.

I know money will get kids to play for that school but man you gotta think hard about signing up to play for someone that doesn't have your back.

@BeddieKU23 coaching 1-0-1 praise in public, hold accountable in practice. Bout the worst Self has ever said is we played soft tonight or something along those lines, he doesn’t call out players in the press.

@kjayhawks2.0 Even when it is painfully obvious that he is struggling to say it, Self says the thing that defends the player. He only criticizes them as a team or in a very specific way like, needs to get downhill more, or be more aggressive hunting his shot, etc.
Feel like Tang just might be hunting that 18.5 mil with that recent presser. So ugly.

Olympic Notes:
Chloe Kim falls just short of becoming the first snowboarder to win 3 olympic golds in a row in the halfpipe. She takes the silver.
Evan Bates and Madison Chock fall just short of gold in couples ice dancing. This was somewhat controversial, as people in the figure skating world tend to agree that their performance was technically superior to that of the French couple who won. A French judge gave the French couple a higher score, helping them win gold.
Team USA is facing tough competition from Italy and Norway in the medal count.

@rcjhdraft I'm more on Tang the players- -running his mouth in his first year, those wasn't even his players. He has no one to blame but himself , he is the one who recruited these players.- - - --didn't hear anyone feeling sorry for us when we has Griffen and that other yay whoo.
He waited to long on this before he came out and just blasted these players saying how they didn't deserve to wear the uniform year this should of been doing this a long time ago- the fans agree.--and how a lot of them wouldn't be back next year BUT NOOO Tang wanted to be up in the student section acting a fool trying to dance and trying to do the Cannon Ball--- -fool

Been an exciting week. AZ, then UW over IL and then they destroyed MSU tonight. Tomorrow, fingers crossed makes it 4-4 for my teams over top 10 teams.

@ROCKCHALK2025 yeah, this really is all on tang. He's always had the budget, but he recruits guys that are only there for the money. Ever since that first season, he's done nothing but whiff on portal evaluations

Turns out the day doesn't turn out quite as bad as it could of. With Arizona losing we stay one game behind them . we are two games behind Houston. We need to take care of business- Beat Houston , and then hope Arizona can beat Houston-- would give them three losses Then hope we can go to Arizona and beat them. Gives us Three losses= Arizona would have three --Tech has three , Iowa State has three.-- What a mess

@ROCKCHALK2025 pretty much every game is a must win going forward. We could maybe handle a loss at Arizona pending how everyone else does but no way can we lose at home to Houston and win the conference.
