@wrwlumpy Im thinking KU being undefeated heading into the UK game is a definite possibility with or without Diallo. With him it becomes more of a certainty.

@wrwlumpy at least western ks gets the games while we are pigging out for turkey day! They all are mad that I get the early games.

I count 9 games not on TV, that’s got to be new high…I take it they will be shown on Zenger’s employer’s network…and by that I don’t mean KU but Time Warner?

My dad has Comcast at his retirement home…I hope my cheering during KU games does not interfere too much with his bed time.

@JayHawkFanToo I have Cox right now. I get almost every game but I’m REALLY tired of paying twice as much as all the people around here who have Dish Network or DirectTV. I was a whisker away from switching to DirectTV a while back until I found out they were purchased by AT & T. I don’t know what to do now.

@nuleafjhawk I have cox or in my phone as coxsuxxxxs. Sorry, they really irritate me! But it’s worth it, everyone I know that has something different, complains too.

Google is finished laying down fiber in my subdivision and should be available in the next few months. Free 6 Mbs internet for 6 years, you just pay an installation fee of around $250. The Gigbabyte internet and cable are pricey at well over $100; I believe their top package is close to $200…no Metro sports either.

I am in no way being a downer on this season. I doubt we make it through the non-con undefeated, there are tough enough games to expect a loss or 2. We don’t want to be undefeated because the pressure to keep winning becomes overwhelming. Self usually has his team locked and loaded after a loss, especially if we get the return game in conference play.
Diallo’s presence or lack of is the biggest domino effect in this season. If he plays and starts, he limits the post minutes for Mari & Lucas which could be a good thing. I’m assuming Mickelson played himself into a role this summer. We need Diallo’s defense & talent, without it we are just another team with some good pieces

@wrwlumpy I think we lose at ISU…they still have a lot coming back and it is a tough place to play…really it is one of the toughest games on our schedule. WVU will be tough also…we generally get everyone’s best effort. I don’t think we will be undefeated going into the UK game.

If KU wins a game and no one can watch did it really happen?
If I could sit down with Zenger and let him realize that his terrible tv contract has made me (and you too I’m sure) miss more games last year than I’ve missed the previous decade. It sounds like this year will be worse, maybe I should say screw KU like the locals and become a fan of a team I can watch on tv.
I wonder if Mr. Zenger realizes that it’s a 6 1/2 hour drive from SW Kansas to Allen Fieldhouse, so we can’t just show up for every game. Actually I bet he does know, because if he were closer (or cared) he wouldn’t screw us over so. Oh wait, he’s a Wildcat and knows exactly what he’s doing.
Wish I knew where he lived so I could deliver these flaming bags of poo…

@Crimsonorblue22 If only I had nothing to lose… However I have more to live for today than ever with the expected arrival of our son any day now! If KU basketball is still shown on tv in SW Kansas when he’s old enough to remember, that’s all he’ll know. If there’s only a few games a year shown…

@nuleafjhawk I loved having DirecTV up in Michigan, they have the full court package that carries all of the ESPN full court games. When i had direcTV it wasn’t in HD, but you at least got to watch all the games!

My “gut” says we’re 18-2 heading into the UK game. My “heart” says 19-1… My “gut” says we’re 27-4 heading into the B12 tour. My “heart” says 28-3. My “gut” says we’re 29-5 heading into March Madness. My “heart” says 31-3. Not bad either way.
