KU BUCKET T-SHIRTS FOR CANADA AT SPRINT CENTER?

Thanks for bringing it all up.
Let’s kick this in high gear and get it done. We had 3 or 4 really nice designs on here and we stopped short because someone was worried about copyright. We have nothing to worry about. If anyone thinks it is a problem, then I’ll take responsibility and put them on something like cafepress for a limited time offer. This is not a commercial endeavor, so there will not be an issue with the University.
We could have a blast meeting up somewhere and all wearing the same shirt. Then… let’s give a cut off time for everyone to get there. Meanwhile… no one give their identity. We’ll first all write down on a piece of paper who we think everyone is. That would be a real gas! I’m afraid we are getting too close to having too many clues given on here. I know recently many of us posted our ages.
So… who is game?
Let’s get this done!
-
@wrwlumpy ha ha!!! I wish, look pretty good for having 2 gkids!!!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 When did you want me to come up and cut the grass? :p
-
@brooksmd anytime!!! Ole smartass!
-
:-o
-
Not that I am a well known poster for lack of posting, but I would venture to guess my profile picture would take the guess work out of it
-
I’ll dig out the shirt designs and put a couple on cafe press in the next couple of days. I did a test print last fall and the half-tone of Naismith looked like crap, so I need to do a better rendering. Shirt quality was nice.
-
@Jayrawks1 you 2 are definitely the cutest couple!
-
I’m game!!! Wasn’t planning on coming back for these games…UNLESS we have buckets t-shirts!!!
-
@VailHawk stop and pick me up on the way!
-
I think the most popular vote was the iPhoto upper left on this page ( Naismith with ball and kU) followed by: Naismith invented it, Wilt perfected it, We talk about it.
KUBuckets.comMaybe DanR came up with it?
-
I’m thrilled with that selection. If I can get a decent resolution of that one, I can get the ball rolling within one day and we can immediately start ordering the shirts individually!
It is all “print on demand” so no one has to risk buying a bunch of shirts to see if they sell.

Tickets go on sale today…
SO… WHO IS IN?

I wish I could answer in the affirmative. However, I splurged last week on primo tickets to see Kraftwerk. Does that make me a bad person?
-
@tis4tim yes, of course!! Do u live in kc?
-
I will be on vacation elsewhere for those games, but will buy a shirt when they are ready.
-
LOL! Perhaps I should not admit such blasphemies on this board.
In my defense, I did get to Allen last season for the OU game. Not to mention Kraftwerk hasn’t been to KC since 1975. Being a bucket list item, I simply couldn’t let the opportunity to see them live go by the wayside.
As for where I live, let’s call it the “KC Area” … an easy day trip to be sure.
-
@tis4tim you should see 1 game!!
-
I’m down for buying a t-shirt. I snagged my tickets to the game this morning. I wouldn’t have even known about the tickets going on sale this morning if it wasn’t for the board!
-
I’ve got some Ice Cream “I’ve got my tickets” -I’ve got some Ice Cream. This is how I feel after getting my tickets at 10 a.m. this morning.

Thanks!
We’ll push it on here in a special thread!

So is the Sprint Center only going to sell lower level seats or open the other level once the lower is sold out? Still plenty of seats available.
-
Kraftwerk? there is a name from the past; I still have the Autobahn LP…Great music, pretty unique and maybe ahead of its time,
-
@brooksmd did u get tickets?
-
For those interested…
I’m awaiting Cafe Press approval on a couple of T-shirt designs. I’ll post links in a separate thread once they are available for sale.
Looks like they’ll be $24. Depending on quantity, it would be a lot cheaper to print these locally, but this way (using cafe press) no one has to deal with inventory, shipping and all that crap. I’ll donate the 5% commission per shirt to the Lawrence Humane Society in the name of kubuckets.com.

BEAUTIFUL. I like them both

@DanR They’re both awesome - for reasons I don’t understand though, I think I like the PD version the best. You can definitely count on me for one.
