Did anybody notice....
-
Haven’t seen it mentioned, but Weber got rid of another player, freshman Malek Harris, for failing to live up to team standards. Only 4 scholarship players left.
-
@brooksmd Wow, I have eligibility left…
-
@wissoxfan83 Heck yeah, I have 4 years left. Although one trip baseline to baseline would probably do me in.
-
@brooksmd Nice to see the sun today huh?
-
@wissoxfan83 Yeah. With the breeze we got going the ground might be dry enough to cut grass tomorrow. If not gonna have to get local farmer to come cut and bale.
-
Ah, Bruce building down and living up to the title Interim Head Coach.
-
I have mentioned it in a couple of other threads but there does not to be much interest on the subject. He has picked up a few commitments though.
-
Foster to creighton
-
@JayHawkFanToo And one of those commits, Cobb, just re-opened his recruitment.
-
@brooksmd I saw that. They may have to forfeit a season.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Nah, me and @wissoxfan83 gonna offer our services.
My dad was a kittie fan so I’ll do it in his name. He may lose more before it’s all over.
-
@brooksmd that might get me to mancrappie!
-
My wife just said I couldn’t do it and my cardiologist said I wouldn’t survive training camp, so sorry Brooks, I wouldn’t see the court with you ahead of me on the depth chart anyways!
-
@wissoxfan83 darn!
-
@wissoxfan83 Only reason you wouldn’t see the court is if you were standing behind me.

With three players dismissed, three transferring and the graduation of seniors Thomas Gipson and Nino Williams, the Wildcats could have eight new players next season.
They signed three players in the November early signing period: St. John forward Dean Wade, guard Barry Brown and center Dante Williams. The spring signing period began Wednesday, and K-State signed freshman point guard Kamau Stokes, while junior college point guard Carlbe Ervin from Connors State (Okla.) College signed his letter of intent Friday.
-
They signed PF Maurice yesterday.
And because of that Eric Cobb reopened his recruiting. He might have started for them.
Looks like Texas Tech could jump them next year.
-
I was going to say Weber was like watching a slow train wreck, but to be honest, it really isn’t that slow.
Is it possible the B12 step in and fire him? Someone needs to do it…
-
Guy can’t hold a candle to the likes of BIll Self. But WAIT…uh…actually…
-
I predicted earlier this year when Foster was suspended that Weber had two years left. With everything falling apart at the rate it is, he may not have that. I am not sure he can keep the K-State job if he finishes last in the league next year. With the attrition he has seen this offseason, I don’t know how he stays ahead of TCU, and Tech is so close to him, he could fall to the basement with a bad home loss. Can K-State win even 5 games in the Big 12 next year?
-
@justanotherfan With our luck his rag-tag mess will beat us 3 times this year.
-
I hear Weber is scouting the Topeka YMCA to get some players for next season
-
I saw a twitter post from a KSUcks fan that said “Illinois told us this would happen.” Funny sh^t.
-
@brooksmd Actually, it had been a long, long time since any coach defeated the Jayhawks 2 out of 3 trips to Manhattan. I know those home contests vs. KU were like the Super Bowl to Weber and his purple priders, but the guy did pull off the two victories…and against a fella who had just cause to send him to his own mock funeral. Those 2 wins are probably saving his job, as we write.
