KU Vs. Fordham Rams.

It's really strange that there will be three 24-year-olds on a college team. Outside shooting is going to be iffy again. Hopefully we don't get bipolar Tre White this season.

Leroy Blyden Highlights vs. Fordham (15 Pts, 3 Asts)
-
Tyran Stokes Highlights vs. Fordham (15 Pts, 7 Rebs)
-
Tre White Highlights vs. Fordham (22 Pts, 5 Rebs)

@Texas-Hawk-10 I agree for the most part but think Reeves might be better in the middle than TKR against bigger teams

Collectively there's talent but I think familiar issues will pop up as the season goes due to the misfit roster construction. Tired of beating that drum though.
I loved how TKR fit in and he's someone they desperately need at the 5.
I thought White played like a confident scorer.
Blyden looked good but remember the opponent given to how he looked against Duke and Louisville. His shooting is desperately needed.
Fordham was a lot better then expected and had legit size so good to see them pull away after the timeout early in the 2nd. Good win to start
Yea, def looks like a bunch of misfit toys at the moment. Well maybe not misfit, but unfamiliar. As a team, we need a focal point. I imagine in this weird era of a new team every year, lots of teams like us will need time to gel and pick a path or style.
Hoping we can do that quickly. Will Stokes take over?

Mbiya with the limited minutes he played grabbed 6 rebounds.

@rockchalkjayhawk I agree. We have a lot of very good players, which I'm happy to see, but who is going to be the star? Unclear so far, but it's early.
-
I'd like to see more balance and it appears we might have 5-6 players capable of double figures on any given night. White and Stokes can fight for top dog and hopefully it's something that most nights is too difficult for opponents to handle

A month ago we were wondering if he'd start and now he's probably the 11th guy and providing great depth and Scout Team play.

And thank goodness for that
