Marshall was not great. But he was not awful either. He played okay, which is more than we can say about many other players.

In the first half he and our offense couldn't do anything, but in the second half Marshall made some great throws and was consistently moving the ball. He threw one pick, but that was in a 4th and 10 desperation situation that he was put in by the failures elsewhere on our team.

Outgaining them by 200 yards and still losing is something you just have to admire. Nobody loves losing as much as Kansas football and we are damn good at it

Lance is 2-8 in recent one score games. One perspective is that he has made us "competitive." Is that enough? We lost by one score to a team that has essentially the same NIL football budget. Could have won if we'd have cleaned up the mistakes. Remember . . . the stats were in our favor. Let's hope the staff can clean up the mistakes moving forward.
BTW The up and coming coach is at Tulsa -- Tre Lamb. One last thought: It's not an even playing field. Our football NIL is 11th in the 16-team Big 12.

It’s not enough to last here forever or at least I hope not

4th down we were losing 17 to 7 and went for it. If a FG was successful we are behind by 7 which is a TD and extra point. One score game. Maybe by going for the first down he was trying to send a message to the team.

@JoJoAndMe in KU language, "competitive" means we don't get spanked quite as bad as we used to.

America! Where you have the right to be wrong.

You know it was much easier to be a KU football fan from 2010-2021. We knew we would likely win 1 or 2 games, 3 if the ball bounced right one game. Currently we are going to win 3-5 games, completely blow the game 3-4 times a year and I personally walk away feeling worse. Our football program is more competitive sure but we have dumped hundreds of millions into the program. Now we are not only still losing more than we are winning in football but we don’t have basketball to look forward too. It cost us everything and we gained very little.

Ugh, I woke up still steamed over that punt! Pretty much a downward spiral of classic KU football from there.

I can only guess, as a former golfer and soccer player, that it was a classic double cross.

Going for a slice, and ended up with a hook or straight ball.

And when you’re aiming left, and miss, now you’re in the water hazard!

                      We suck.

The team almost looks functional. We remain cautiously pessimistic.

                          Taunting, teasing, tormenting ...

                          Or in Haiku form:

                          Kansas is driving!
They are on the two yard line!
                          Oh wait, turnover.

He doesn't win the title without Cuban opening the checkbook.
