My personal stance would be to let this season play out and move on if he doesn't turn things around. Something to consider: if it weren't for our horrendous sucktitude from 2009-2021 and our fear of regressing to such a state there is almost no chance Lance would still be our coach.

It’s like we haven’t worked on 2 minute defense or offense since he came to town. The problem is most P4 coaches are packing their bags if they win 2 or 3 games in year 6. You also have to figure he made all sort of demands to stay here including the new stadium. It’s a pretty shitty look to demand stuff and then not even make a bowl for 3 straight years.

Add to the list the last 3 years 2-8 in games decided by one score. I think any remote hope of a bowl game just disappeared. This circles back to poor coaching IMO. New faces, same result at the end of the halfs. We snatch defeat from the jaws of victory it our new motto for Kansas football. I’m literally sick to my stomach after that one.

He also played the beginning of the game and lost a fumble in the 2nd quarter. He had 8 carries today, he played today, KU wasn't without him for the entire game today.

It's literally the last couple of minutes going into halftime and the first few minutes coming out of halftime that have cost KU the last 3 years. You can guarantee KU is giving up a TD going into halftime and giving up a TD coming out of halftime.

No, KU cannot fire Leipold without a plan and this is probably a really bad year for KU to get a quality coach. We are near the bottom of NIL spending in the Big 12 on this roster so KU wouldn't be attracting a top up and coming coach. There's also potentially 3 other Big 12 schools (Baylor, Cincinnatti, and Colorado) that could be looking for new coaches after this season as well that would all be pulling from the same pool KU would potentially be pulling from. This is probably not the best offseason cycle to be looking for a coach at this level.
