These money hungry idiots / Disney ? ESPN /Direct TV

  • Boy now they have done it , these idiots fighting on the dam Contract and it’s Us - -John Q - Public , that have to suffer.- Now all ESPN is blacked out if you have Direct TV. - -That is going to/well already has pissed a lot of people off

Now hre we sit anyone who has Direct TV paying for something ew don’t even get- -get to watch and having to still pay, Guarantee the phone is ringing off the hook. Seen A LOT of comments. Some people better get their ass in gear and get this straightened out.

  • @jayballer67 Yeah, Disney is mad they got enjoined from a streaming agreement merger (with Fox and Warner Bros) because of antitrust concerns. They are demanding that Direct TV expressly waive any right to ever raise antitrust issues caused by Disney’s practices. They are also demanding that any new contract has to include DirectTV agreeing that all future litigation has to be heard in California rather than NY (a New York federal judge is the one who issued the injunction).

Just sign up for a month of Sling or Hulu or Fubo or YouTubeTV. This dispute might get uglier before it gets solved because it isn’t just about the fees as it usually is. Disney seems determined to use its economic power to force unrelated concessions by other businesses…kind of ironic if they don’t want to be seen as a megalopoly.

Well I called Direct TV and just flat ssk how they wee going to reimburse me the money I paid for something I’m not getting to see , I said the one’s getting screwed in this is John Q Public instead of you idiots. - They said they will credit my account. They crediting my next month’s bill 20.00. They said hopefully it won’t b e more then a week lol.

There is a site they sent me too for further information, made some sense. - -They said thee that as far as missing games for one, ESPN usually only shows one NFL game a week and gave options fir that. - -They also broke down the SEC Conference and talked about the Station’s that carried them and ho wit would or would not effect hem - -Broke down the Big 12 and said most of Big Twelve games were either on Fox or FS-on which is true so all in all didn’t turn out to bad – still BS though
