Refs suck.
-
Kentucky taking down #7 Ole Miss in Oxford.
-
UNLV absolutely destroyed Fresno St. 59-14 without Sluka. They still look like a strong contender for the G5 playoff spot.
-
All the sudden Georgia has made this a game
-
OH MY DAWGS
-
ROLL TIDE
-
The Big 12 isn’t any good at this football thing
-
@FarmerJayhawk it was a big year for this conference and the games have pretty much sucked all around. Regardless of who wins the conference crown. I think the B12 team in the playoffs gets destroyed by 30 points.
-
@kjayhawks Thank goodness it won’t be us!
-
LOL typical Missouri thinking. — - - - - Getting their ass kicked ALL OVER A & M field- – -total domination by A & M - -so whz Missouri do? -Down - -41- - -7 --with 20 seconds to play - - - -4th and goal from the 2—Missouri KICKS a field goal- - -makes it 41-10 A & M.
What fricken good is it when your down 41 - -7 , and you kick a fricken field goal to make it 41-10- - – -that’s Missouri lmao
-
Major upset brewing in Nashville right now. Vanderbilt currently up 9 with about 3 minutes left over #1 Alabama.
-
D O R E S
-
Vandy now up 12 with about 5 minutes left on #1 Alabama.
-
Many people are saying Vanderbilt is the best team in the SEC
-
Now its our turn.
-
Washington over #10 Michigan in Seattle and Minnesota over #11 USC in Minneapolis.
-
Vandy’s students marched the goal post down Broadway in Nashville before dumping it in the Cumberland.
-
Anyone have any idea as to how in the actual F*** USC is ranked in the top 11? I’ve never been sold on Riley in the slightest, he’s one of those guys that started coaching on third base but hasn’t proven he can even make contact with the ball.
-
It really is Blood Saturday. Miami flat getting whipped at Historic Atlantic Coast Conference rival… Cal Berkeley?
-
@FarmerJayhawk has the look of the 2007 with crazy upset after upset.
-
Looks like our loss against WV isn’t as bad as first thought after how they destroyed OSU at OSU
-
@jayballer67 TCU is really the only bad loss we have, I think every team we have played has a good shot at a bowl game. UNLV, WV and Illinois are all much better than predicted. The trouble is we are going to likely end up playing 4 ranked teams in our final 6 games. Needing to win 5 of those. It’s all about getting reset here during the off week and starting a new season against Houston.
-
The more I watch this league the more I’m confused about who’s any good. ASU currently beating Utah
-
Wow, they just said the top 8 in the Big 12 preseason poll are under .500 in league play by a lot. I missed the actual number oops
-
You know, I’m so confused. I really am beginning to believe that these losses we have just might not be as bad/frustrating sa I thought. I mean sure it sucks with the Schedule w have - --but again on the other hand maybe our schedule isn’t that easy after all the way it’s playing out. – - WV destroying OSU- - -Arizona St beating Utah with rising playing. - --UNLV continuing to win
We have been in all these games-- most of leading in the 4th quarter – -makes it even a harder pill to swallow I’’ say this again I picked KSU to win the league and still think they will- -yet someone has to beat BYU, I think ISU still has some tough games to go
-
Iirc the year Mangino took us bowling our schedule was soft. Curious if that team does any better with this schedule
-
@approxinfinity this schedule as I said above is looking much tougher than originally thought. Sadly if we could finish games, we are ranked in the top 10 right now.
-
@kjayhawks We DO finish games! Poorly…
-
Probably not going to get any easier next year?

The margin for error being so thin makes it even more amazing KU is somehow 1-5.
There is a parallel universe where this team is undefeated going into Manhattan and college game day/big noon is there.
-
Penn State converted a 4th and 7 and a 4th and 10 when they were down 7 in the 4th and tied it up with a TD, then the defense held and they won in OT.
-
Further confusing me about how good or bad we are. KU narrowly loses to Illinois. Wisconsin (not very good this year and with a back up QB) destroys Purdue, probably worst team in BIG, last week. Purdue narrowly loses to Illinois today in OT. KU is really better than their crazy bad record looks.
-
Things are getting weird in a few games
-
Texas fans throwing stuff on the field on a call and the refs deciding to pick of the flag several minutes later
-
@kjayhawks SUPER classy.
-
@nuleafjhawk sounds like Texas
-
Corn??
-
Let’s go Houston
-
We need to hire Willie Fritz he beat KSU in methattan as Tulane’s head coach a few years ago. He’s a good coach Houston seems to be improving every week at this point.

And KU beat the shit out of Fritz 2 weeks ago.
-
And weather was a very big factor today in that game.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 true but if Fritz is coaching the hawks this season we ain’t lost yet.
-
Oh it’s been a great day – -A GREAT DAY- - First Iowa St gets knocked off their all mighty horse-- -that was Awesome, - -Then K/Sucks get’s beat by Houston - - -HOUSTON ! !
Just goes to show how this football Season has worked out. You know Ku could be just a easily 6 – 2 instead of 2 - – 6.-We have lost FOUR GAMES by a combined total of THIRTHTEEN POINTS-- THIRTHTEEN ! ! AND in those we have led in the FOURTH QTR, where as KSU could be just as easily be five & Four instead of Seven & two- they have won TWO of their games by a total of FIVE POINTS -Colorado-- 31-28- - - & KU - -29-27,- -so if I was one of their fans I wouldn’t be squealing to loud- -They have been playing with fire and it finally caught them today, This is the same Houston team we boat race 42- -14. - -just a few breaks here , a few breaks there, and our Season would be much better BUT that’s football fella’s
-

I doubt that
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 Fritz is taking a team much less talented than ours and will end up winning more games in not only the conference but overall. Fritz> Leipold

Cool story bro! Let me know when UH plays a tougher non-conference and conference schedule than KU, then that argument would have some merit. Right now, it’s just you grasping at straws to find something to complain about.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 Guess I’m not seeing anything that makes me think their non conference schedule was that easy. We both played UNLV and lost. They played OU on the road, lost we played Illinois on the road and lost. They don’t play an FCS team like we did in Lindenwood but played rice and won. They also beat both TCU and KSU, they seem to improve everytime they get on the field unlike us. Please expand on how much easier their non conference was than ours because it makes no logical sense looking at them. They also have several common opponents in conference and have beaten teams we lost to with less talent. Sounds like superior coaching to most logical folks. I would agree theirs is slightly easier. Fritz is winning more games with less talent that is a fact not an opinion buddy.
-
@kjayhawks It’s an age old debate. Can coaching prevent kids from losing their heads like we did against UNLV and try to pick up a fumble and run with it instead of just fall on it? Can coaching prevent Skinner (?) from dropping a wide open TD pass at Kstate? Can coaching prevent the kick returner from catching a KO at the 1/2 yard line and stepping out of bounds? Can coaching prevent refs from botching some calls against TCU?
On the other hand people would say great coaching will prevent Jaylon from making that bad throw at U of I at the end of the half. Great coaching will prevent the 4th quarter meltdowns. Great coaching will prevent the insane play calling we’ve all complained about from Grimes.
I really kind of think both can be blamed. Not sure the Houston coach whom we’ve waxed two years straight now can deliver us to undefeated land, especially when what you claim and the reality is a difference of 6 games.
-
@wissox Fritz is in his first year at Houston and is a proven winner at this level. I think he has proven he is a better coach than Leipold has been this season. You don’t have to think the same but have players not know wtf they are doing on kickoffs 8 weeks in is a direct reflection of coaching. I’m still waiting from the response from @Texas-Hawk-10 as to how Houston non conference schedule is so much easier than ours other than he was too lazy to look it up.
-
@kjayhawks “Fritz is in his first year at Houston”. Don’t let the facts ruin my narrative! It looks a lot like you don’t let facts ruin your narratives when you say he’s a better coach than Leipold when that’s the one team we’ve had our way with. I look at their schedule. Still not sure how you look at that and say better than leipold, especially when you have two bowl appearances in the last two seasons.
