Lance is COOKING
-
Josh Galbreath to Kansas. A pretty nice get for us. He also had offers from Kansas St, Iowa St, Illinois, and Michigan.
-
Most likely a linebacker.
-
KU has now gotten commits from the # 1 or 2 player in the state depending which site you look at- 3 5 by 247 sports , - we have the # - 4 player in the state - -the # 6 player in the state - - # 9 player in the State – -& the # 11 player in the state
Plus we still have a really good shot at the # 3 player in the state-- - & pretty decent chance yet at the #-- 1 player in the state we get them that would be 8 out of the top eleven ranked kids in Kansas
Right now Ku is ranked 17th in the Nation recruiting for 2026 &- -# 1 in the Big Twelve
-
Malachi Mills to Kansas. He is an offensive lineman. Had offers from Akron, Colorado St, E. Michigan, and FAU. He has an overall player rating of 86.
Good pickup. Can never have too many offensive lineman.
-
Never thought the football team would be keeping me sane in late January. Strange times.
-
We have a great chance of getting seven of the top eleven recruits from Kansas and ONE more if we could snap-- - -Ian Premer would be a huge get.# 1 player in the State of Kansas.
Lance and the guys have busted down the barrier that was with the Kansas High School Coach’s and KU Staff. A lot of bad blood between Kansas High School Coach’s and Previous KU staff. KU staff didn’t recruit their own Kansas kids, a lot of times not giving them even the time of daay , caused a lot of friction. Lance and his group have re connected and finally has gotten through, mde good friendships now and doing quite wll and K/State people hate it

-
Kaden Snyder to KU. He is a 4-star offensive tackle with a rating of 0.90. Another Kansas kid from Salina. He had offers from K-State, Duke, Wisconsin and Arkansas. Really big pickup. The staff is on quite a tear with in-state recruiting and recruiting in general.
-
I believe we are also expected to get a commit from Landen Anderson, who is a defensive tackle.
-
We now have 6 of the top 11 recruits from the state of Kansas with a good shot at getting Tyren Parker (WR) and a chance to get Ian Premer (TE) as well. Premer is the #1 recruit in Kansas and has offers from Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and several other good schools, so that will be a hard fight to get him in Lawrence.
-
I will say it helps that Premer is friends with Kaden Snyder and some of the other KU commits, but recruiting against Oregon, ND, A&M is not easy.
-
Lance and staff are ABSOLUTELY ON FIRE – —kicking ass and taking names, - - BUT let us remember this is Lance’s weak area- - he can’t recruit lmao.
Now in all seriousness we may get them to commit – BUT the key is to keep them from flipping to other schools before signing day.
Can’t do nothing but help on Ian , with all these other ranked kids committing & being friends with Synder- – -- -ROCK CHALK BABY
-
We got another one tonight.- -Landen Anderson,- - which KirkIsMyHinrich-- giving us nine commits for 2026.- -There was rumor the way things were headed this was suppose to be a big year for Lance-- looks like its workin out
-
According to Rivals KU now has the - - -Nineth ranked recruiting class in 2026 - & 247 sports has us as the thirteenth the Nation
-
And here we go, lil brother starting to whimper.-- K/Stat even has a podcast about this now-- Is K/State losing the recruiting battle to in state rival.
We start as to why KU is getting these recruits : - -K/State cooled off in recruiting them - -Some of these kids had KU backgrounds and K/State was never going to get them- - - -They say this is just a one year cycle , not to panic - - -This kid not as good as being talked about— - - -K/State never interested -and JJ Dunnigan recruitment far from over- - Which might be true, but thing is-----he committed to KU right now lmao- - K/State feels they are still in the lead with IAN- & yet Ian has visited Ku more then any other school that’s recruiting him-- ( 4 )
There you have it guys - -let the crying begin.-- Hang onto your butts cause , it’s only gonna get worse
-
At this rate we’ll have the 26 group wrapped before the 25 class even shows up
-
@FarmerJayhawk I think I like it. Remember this is where Lance is weak- - so they say.
Were in pretty good shape with Tyren Parker & Ian Premer
-
Be on your toes guys for another one.- -Coach Ianello put his search light up again about a hour ago. - --Some was talking about a Rb top 15 in the Nation. - -Hunter Higgins saying we need to show him some love, not quite sure who it might be
-
Corbin Glasco just committed. WR.
Staff continues to cook.
-
@KirkIsMyHinrich Speed , Speed , And more Speed
-
Jack Utz to Kansas. Tight End. Had offers from Mizzou, K-State, Nebraska, Colorado, Arkansas, Wisconsin, among other schools.
His offer list is probably better than his 247 rating.
-
Mercy, they just keep rollin in - -got to love it
-
KU now has the 5th best class of 2026 according to Rivals - -& the 11th best class of 2026 according to 247
Dam I wish this Coaching staff could recruit lol. – ROCK CHALK
-
OK, so I’m needing some help , I’m confused be careful how you respond to that lol.
Seriously needing help/answer to this question because I can’t remember. The question is -Do we have a signing of intent in February for our class of 2026 football verbal’s ? - I can’t remember if that’s an spring signing date or not- – hope so , so we can lock this group down.
So can anyone answer this question ?-- help please.
-
It’s fantastic that we’re getting such great talent. It is not fantastic that next year they’ll be going to whomever pays them more than KU.
-
@nuleafjhawk not if we can hang on till next month
-
@SlimShaddy54 I’m just saying they might stay a year and then head to greener pastures. Green as in money.
-
@nuleafjhawk Very true, just seems with not only Ku but with the way this dam thing ha turned into these days --with the NIL & Portal ha changed the College scene it’s a lot of here today , gone tomorrow.
Makes it twive as hard to recruit and plan for the Coach’s , understand what your saying and agree 100 %

We’ve had extremely low transfer and decommitment numbers under Lance, less than 10 scholarship guys per year. It’s fine if you don’t believe or care about that though.

@FarmerJayhawk “It’s fine if you don’t believe or care about that though.”
I don’t know what to make of this. Ok, we’ve had a low rate of transfer. So far. Because there are no regulations, the whole team could transfer next year. It’s a stupid system that yields inconsistencies and the best players go to the highest bidders.

Since the portal and NIL was a thing. At most you can count to 1 as far as players from last year’s team that left for money. Losing talent to bag chasers hasn’t and likely won’t be a massive issue for KU.
