Love what what Coach Leipold has done for this team. I expect us to become bowl-eligible soon. But maybe not this week.
Unlike TCU, OU has had a whole week to prepare for Jason Bean. Plus, they’re still stinging from the embarassment against Texas, not to mention our near-win against them last year. Without our top QB and running back, that’s a lot to ask of the defense on the road. Fingers crossed though.

OU has done a pretty good job of stopping the run so far is probably a big reason. They’ve also been stacking the box forcing Bean to beat them.

We’re seeing the difference between Daniels and Bean today on full display and OU is forcing Bean to beat them and he doesn’t have the accuracy or touch to consistently do that.

I’d say they’re wearing our defense down, but we’re way ahead of them in time of possession. Need to wake up.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I would add that Bean’s fakes aren’t nearly as effective as Daniels’ on the option. Just not fooling anyone.

No they haven’t come close to testing their run defense - 12 times in a half ain’t squat especially when your playing against the worst run defense in the big 12 who is over 65 yards per game worse then any othr team in the league. - as a matter of fact they are like ranked 122nd out of 131- you have to legit test that kind of run defense more then that
