Here is a really bad sore spot we HAVE TO get fixed or it will crush us in the end in the Tourney - -Oklahoma out of their 64 points - -40 in the paint

Good job shutting down Tanner Groves, although some of that was self-inflicted.
Only 8 points on 4 of 13. Outrebounded by Jalen & Mitch.

@jayballer67 I think it was very unusual that we got our ass kicked in the paint.Normally that is one of our strong points

Dejuan was overexposed in this game. Got posted up, made numerous errors trying to drive the ball, and his shot just would not fall. Took 10 shots. I know OU was laying off of him, but he has to do better, or play less.

Actualy normally you would be right but this year been numerous games where we have just been blitzed in the paint getting beat on drives

@jayballer67 He had 3 shots where the ball was in the rim, and it just bounced out. He lacks the quickness to get around people, and his small frame makes him a target to be posted by bigger guards. He is fine as a distributor, but as a main focal point of the offense, he certainly isn’t ready and might not ever be ready.

I don’t think he is ever going to really be able to put on muscle. Just hoping Bobby comes along a bit for next season and we get another guard preferably from the portal I don’t think there are guys we can get from the HS ranks that move the needle at this point.

Landen is not wrong on this. He was pretty good at it. Doke too. This is really the first I’ve seen it happen this year, though I haven’t watched every minute of gameplay this season. I’m just not sure Dave is coordinated enough or has a solid enough base to make it happen.
