I have touted it before, but a subscription to The Atlantic is the single best resource I have found for tracking information about Covid-19. Their reporters won a few journalism awards. Absolutely worth it for people who want in-depth reporting instead of just Facebook rumors and CNN/Fox headlines.

This article has a great review of information about Omicron and the various possibilities we face.
