@wrwlumpy I first heard about the North Texas jazz bands from Dick Wright, who was manager of KANU Radio (now KPR), when I took his History Of Jazz class at KU. (Dick had a basement library of over 10,000 albums !)
Their list of alumni could make up a Who’s Who of the jazz world.

Very true. Was trying to get a sense on this game, NT likes to slow it down. Looks like their best players are all vets. Should be a quality opening game

ya, well won’t that settle nice on a Thanksgiving stomach lol having to watch them muddle it up having to watch a game like that. - -The only way to beat a team like that is get out up on them quick and step on their throats and force tempo on them and get them out of that type of game

I think it will be lower scoring. UNT has veterans who are their main scorers and some size to mix it up down low. They beat Purdue in the NCAA’s last year so they are not a pushover. Think we see this one hover around 10 or less imo
