@rockchalkjayhawk for some reason the last few weeks Tre canāt hit a Tre, he was much better than Melvin IMO. That may have been Melvinās worst game as a hawk, hopefully. This team just has games where they flat out canāt put the ball in the hole. We had to have missed 15-20 shots from inside of 5 feet. I loved the defensive intensity we played with for 28 minutes. They had 28 points with just over 12 minutes to go and then exploded for 32 in those 12 minutes. Iāve been saying most the year Paul shouldāve been playing more and we have to get nasty on the glass. Another game that we lose the on the glass and give up 12 offensive rebounds. Iām sorry but Iām think we get blown out Sunday by at least 20 and our ole friend Zuby goes for 20 and 20.

I still think we have a good chance Sunday. St Johnās isnāt even as big as Cal Baptist! Ha.
They are about the same shooting 3s as Kansas. KU has made like 8 more 3s on the year, 2% more accurately.
They are each at about 38 rebounds per game.
But they got us on scoring per game.

@Kcmatt7 Sometimes we exaggerate, certainly I do. Tre had a huge game, 23 points, 11 boards, 5-9 tres on March 7! We beat up on KState that day.

They get after your a** and play a fast pace or at least they did against Hurley. We work our butts off on defense and get woeful on offense and I think it gets to us after a while. Win the first five/ten minutes and play Paul when Bryson and Flory get in foul trouble or need spelled and avoid the mismatch when Mari is playing the four. Put the ball in the effing hole and this includes DP at the start of the game. The dude from Cal Baptist was unconscious and showed how you should be wary of a team that has a better record than you. If they press it's not just a victory to get it to half court but it should lead to open at the hoop tries. Don't be afraid to play Elmarko or Mari to keep us fresh. DP for 30 with ten of those at the line. You can tell if the guys are ready to play in the first ten minutes. Bryson Bryson Bryson. I've got a get out of the first weekend Jones. Our true studs Flory, DP and Tre need to pull this one out for us. Mari and Elmarko need to make threes in rhythm like the Funky Funky Broadway song. Nothing to be afraid of.

It looked at the after 12 minute timeout, someone in the huddle suggested we slow the possessions down and everyone else start shooting 3s for shooting practice.
