@approxinfinity oh gosh, it's tough to go though those times. Do you have siblings to help?

Not so fun with the box score…

            POINTS SCORED

Flory and Bryson β€” 4 points combined / FUGLY

            REBOUNDS

            KU β€” 26

            Arizona β€” 48

Flory and Bryson β€” 6 rebounds combined / FUGLY

            FREE THROWS β€” FUGLY

            KU β€” 10 of 11

            Arizona β€” 30 of 34

            FIELD GOALS β€” surprising

            KU β€” 22 of 65

            Arizona β€” 25 of 55

            3PT SHOOTING

            KU β€” 7 of 20

            Arizona β€” 4 of 16

Looking at fgs and 3 pt stats alone, I would have guessed a KU win, and no way a blowout.

This game was won and lost at the free throw line (even though it didn’t look that way while watching).

We aren't home though. Its going to be ugly I'm afraid. This team doesn't look connected away from home once again

@approxinfinity There's a reason that pride (stubborness) is one of the seven deadly sins. My dad is the same way. He's 90 and very mentally sharp, but his body is failing him. He falls frequently. Thank God he hasn't broken anything. But he will not listen to my pleas to use a cane, walker or wheelchair. "Those are for old people ".πŸ™„πŸ˜‘

My dad sleeps till 3 in the afternoon, asks me ten times a day where I live, what do I do, etc. 94 years old. My sister and her superhero husband live with him and mom too who's not in the best of health. I'm with them in far northern wisconsin for a long weekend. Not easy. I don't really want to grow old ;).

@wissox83 my son has strict orders. If anyone mentions putting me in a nursing home, he is to book a cruise to Jamaica and dump me overboard on the way back.

I would argue that this year rebounding has been a bigger problem than scoring. If our offense is ranked in the 50s, our rebounding must be in the 300s. However, I agree that our offense needs to take a big step up.

Frontcourt has to be better. I thought Tre played selfish at points too. Bench was awful again..guys gotta step up.

This season has hammered home the point that cohesion and chemistry are huge factors to success, and that a team is rarely, if ever, just a factor of the sum of talent it puts on the court. When Darryn is out, we are a much less talented team. But because we have played so much with him out we have developed cohesion without him. We have the ball, understand our roles, and play sound defense. With Darryn in, the talent level jumps but the offense looks lost, the ball sticks, and whoever has the ball tends to try and score 1v1. The defense also appears to be more hesitant on switches and less confident about positioning.

Wore my 50th Anniversary tour of The Moody Blues DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED album tye-died tshirt today because it cements the time and place for where this program is to us fans who have been through thick and thin. I saw The Moody Blues in Cedar Park, TX and was a bucket list item for me and it was shortly after my husband passed. None of us thought we could actually win the game there in Arizona, but a lot of us just wanted to see a fair fight. I don't think that was the case at specific points in the contest.

Ride My SeeSaw is a classic and is what we experience with each new season, game, team, players, ups and downs, health, injuries and gut wrenching losses, but I still will hop on board the seesaw every day and support our Jayhawks.

48th in rebounding overall. They have games they cant rebound like yesterday. Tiller was a part of that with the fouls but overall team just didn't have enough effort. But the offense is a complete mess and has been for years. The numbers don't lie

I just don't get it , Trying to figure it out as to WHY is it when we lose or when any other team WHY is it people automatically like BAM right off the bat they try to just start making excuses as to why they lost lol , why do people do that.

How about instead, of trying to make up an excuse like the most famous excuse always is-- Well the refs sure screwed is in this game dam refs blew so many calls lol, NO they didn't- - WE cost us the game ----just much easier to blame some one else other then admit the real reason , how about just admitting that we got beat today by the better team-- they were just better then us- -at least today they were. but we Just got to find an excuse other then just admit that the other team were better, They were better for sure ---this team we have is just inconsistent we give up big runs from the other team because we come up empty teo many 20 = =0- --- -18/zero
runs really terrible way to get your ass spanked , which we did.

Darryn his gotten a reputation on spending to much time of whining every time he shoots the ball and gets fouled so he says, after while refs just gonna ignore you - - -spend more time getting back on defense instead od crying all the time. Quit trying to find reasons why we got spanked and play ball
The refs didn't make us play sloppy ball . they are not beaten like a dog on the boards --don't come at me with the excuse of well they shot double the free throws then we did. Come on don't be bringing that in here , remember how things work in the phog . Pretty lame just admit we just got spanked by the better team-- it happens it really makes for a ba look and sad fans when you can;t admit we were beaten by the better team. -The biggest thing I see is, snd that is we are to inconsisent
