Apparently this is where it came from,
The cofounder of Rivals, 247 and On3…Bobby Burton started another site called On Texas Football. It was posted on there by former national recruiting expert for 247 & On3 Gerry Hamilton who now works at OTF.

Yeah I’ve seen the posts from Gerry and basically all he said is Texas contacted Self’s agent. He has also mentioned other candidates etc

I want him fired if we lose first round again next season that would mean 1 trip outside of the first weekend in an 8 year span. Dook, UK, UNC and UConn would all fire coaches for such.

Self isn’t going to fricken Texas. ONE if he didn’t leave to go to Oklahoma St when it was open and his Alma Mater and I guy that basically offered a blank check to Self-- he the sure as hell isn’t going to Texas.
I’m still going with Coach comes back for one more year , rolls through upcoming year with Patterson and then hangs it up , retiring from KU. - -He has mentioned multiple times how he doesn’t want to Coach a lot longer , wants to be able to spend time with the wife and enjoy the Grand kids

#2020 tournament cancelled, presumptive national champs. 2022 national champions. 2023, coach sidelined by heart ailment for tournament, but go ahead and spread the narrative that he’s made 1 trip out of the 1st weekend. Nice arbitrary last 8 years, because if you make it 10 then you’ve got another FF, an elite 8, a sweet 16. But go ahead and make up crap of why Bill Self should be fired.

Saw a pic of some KU players there, flory, cross, Shelby and Elmarko. Somebody said zeke was there. Saw a post game interview, their young coach had so many positive things to say about DP! One reporter asked him who was he excited to play with and he said Flory. Was very impressed!

Yeah Zeke was there, away from the other players. Some former players showed up too, pretty sure I saw Tyshawn.
Bill got a great round of applause, not many kuballin10s in the crowd I imagine.

I would take rylan and or storr back, both are capable of a higher tempo game and it felt like the lights were coming on for AJ.

After rylan’s 4 3 game I never saw any aggression from him. Bama can have him. He had all zeros 1st half last game. I would have started storr 2nd half.

247 board has nailed it and the results show Bill is wrong. He’s misjudged his multiyear talent and he messed up the number 1 NIL roster this year. He let the ball be constantly in Juan’s hands with kj as the pnr guy

@approxinfinity can attest I was positive and jacked about the season that night. Guys played loose - Bill in an interview said “we got guards” and then he tightened the reigns, installed his “system” and it all went to hell
But hey just remember the negatives like the news!
Bill was a disaster these past 2 years and it needs to be addressed. When we aren’t a title contender next year he for the betterment of the program needs to bow out (he’s said no coach is ever bigger than KU - which is respect of the program I appreciate)
