Chiefs vs. The Hated Raiders
-
Looking forward to a good old-fashioned Chiefs buttkicking tonight on national TV, while I recover from my 4000-plus-mile road trip.
(Is there such a thing as lack-of-motion sickness ?)
-
Hope Mahomes doesn’t get sacked tonight, but if he does, we’ll see if the refs give him the same “preferential treatment” that Tom Brady got yesterday.
-
Speaking of bad officiating…
-
I’m heated right now.
-
AAAALLLL THE WAY BACK !!!
-
That’s MISTER Kelce to you…
-
Do it kelc do it! 4

Had 'em all the way. Good guys win !
Best comeback I’ve seen since…well…last Saturday’s AL Wild Card game ?
-
Pulled it out! Finally they screwed up. Run into each other, keystone cops!

Raiders gonna Raider! So funny.

Raiders came very well prepared. They were more physical. This was one of their better games at Arrowhead.
-
Mahomes challenged the O line and they came through after looking like the TB Super Bowl game. I think Orlando figured out he has to actually move his feet to block to his left instead of turning and putting an arm out. Looked like a Jr HS blocker in 1st qtr.

Just saw where the guy that got pushed down filed a police report.
-
Not about to defend what Adams did. But this morning on the Dan Patrick Show, one of Dan’s crew (who’s done similar audio sideline jobs) pointed out that the audio guy should have paid more attention and tried to stay out of Adams’ way. I would’ve liked to see a little more of the video, instead of just the push itself played ad nauseam…
The shove was wrong, no doubt about it. But in fairness, Adams did apologize afterwards. (Of course, none of US have ever let our emotions get the best of us when it comes to passionately following our team.)
-
@nwhawkfan apologized on social media.
-
The apology amounted to an excuse, a rationalization, and an attempt to minimize it (“kind of shoved him”).
If we did that leaving work to someone suddenly in our way, no one would question it was assault and battery. Why should an audio guy get less protection just because Adams had a bad day in a stadium?
-
Adams was wrong for pushing the guy.
The photog probably should not have been there in that moment. Security tries to keep the tunnel clear as players are exiting, so that is a failure on that level.
But Adams still shouldn’t have pushed him.
Ultimately, it’s Adams’ fault this happened, but the Chiefs should have done a better job of keeping the tunnel clear, especially after what happened at the end of the first half.
-
Adams is banned from worlds of fun!
-
This is unbelievable.
I turn on the TV tonight and what’s showing on one of the cable channels ? An old Sixties movie called “The Fortune Cookie.” For those of you unfamiliar with the plot, Jack Lemmon plays a TV cameraman who gets run over on the sidelines at a football game. He’s only slightly hurt, but his sleazy brother-in-law (Walter Matthau) talks him into acting like it was a major injury and suing the team for a ton of money.
Sometimes, life does imitate art.

No disrespect to the likes of Rogers, Brady etc, today’s game between Bills and Chiefs will feature top QBs in the league this year.
We know what happened when these teams faced each other last year in the playoffs.
Bills have a loaded roster on both sides and are dominating their opponents.
Who will come out on top today?
