Would like to see them add another OL, but pretty thrilled with the development of the OL throughout the season. Noticeable difference from game 1 vs end of the season

Most games are won and lost in the trenches. Itās just such a huge advantage if you have good line play.

February sometime. I donāt know the actual date off the top of my head. I bet weāll have only 1-2 at most sign then.

Good Morning Farmer. - -I have a question and really appreciate you opinion , hearing what you think. Iāve been reading some posts off TOS & some talking about KU needing/wanting to bring in possibly ANOTHER QB through the transfer portal.
My question would we REALLY want to do something like that and possibly destroy what confidence JD has achieved last season for a ONE year rental ? I myself not really sure we should bring in another for a year. Give JD another year of Spring ball a full year in the system with this staff and the way he come on , would we really want to risk what JD has gained? - -So what you think ?

OK Farmer got a question. - - Sure seems from reading off the other site that Coach Leipold and staff is really trying to let a lot of in state recruits no matter of talent that they have been noticed. Just tonight like three different recruits talking about visits or offer - -I realize at this point the oneās that are still there are not quite the level but more possibly developmental but point being staff still showing them they are noticed. - I love that and I think that can only bode well for the staff for 2023 and future the local schools knowing that KU wants the local kids enough of the raiding by Iowa State and others
The question is - - -is there a limitation of how many Walkonās a program can have Farmer? - - -or is there a limit number of PWOās is there a number on them - - -Thanks

Hey Jay! Iāve got an answer. The limit spends on how many players you have on scholarship. The limit there is 85. The total roster limit is 105. So if youāre full, youāll have 85 scholarship, 20 walk-on. If you have 75 scholarship, you can have 30 walk-on. Weāre going to be VERY close, if not right at 85 so probably no more than 20 walk-ons.

Dude youāre so right. This staff had a plan and is executing perfectly so far. Iām still a year away from saying itās a real success because we have to nail the 2023 HS class. I bet theyāll try for 18-20 HS kids and the rest transfers.
Manā¦ thereās no way of knowing that for sure but Gill at the absolute latest. I would guess probably 2007-8. Beaty got close one year on the back of JuCoās + blueshirts but that went belly up pretty quick so idk if he ever got there.

Thank you so much , I knew you would be able to help me out - -It just looks like Coach is wanting these Kansas kids to know that KU has not forgotten them and itās not like previous Coaching staffs. There are some real diamonds in the rough here and I think the way Coach handles his recruiting he is fully aware. - I canāt say enough about how much respect I have for this guy. - I think we got a real steal with him, and think this IS our guy thatās going to straighten this mess out. - -EVERYTHING he has done and or approached is just I dunno seems class , smart - -think we got us a really good staff - hope he sticks
