KU upset alert, right now

  • Ugh

  • Damn

  • Nice while it lasted.

  • Hey! We r not quitting, loving RG3. Nice not having a dumb đź’©

  • That just sucked

  • Zebras really making it known they’re here.

  • I am so proud of our guys. Best effort of the season.

Couldn’t agree more Farmer. - I usually try to not get into that type of thing BUT the ref’s just flat ass Screwed us out of this game in the end. - -That handoff? - - ok -BUT the whole thing on that was Brooks WAS STOPPED , that whistle should of been blown - - they just FLAT ASS blew that call flat ass missed it STOPPED.

They make that call like it should of been, even the TV commentators agreed he was SHORT TFL and the Refs just took it out of our hands, they get that call right who knows. Were on their side of the field. Drive the ball like we had been doing Score that puts us back up

OU had nNO ANSWER for Lassiter NONE. - -Grimm was big Arnold was big - -love how we answered their score multiple times, - our guys out played OU for the game for sure - just chaps my ass Farmer. These guys busted their ass and to have it taken away is BS.

We can only hope that the guys can still take some confidence out of this - -this is by far the best we have seen this D step up - SOLID - -OL did great not ONE single sack until the very end - - OL has only given up 2 sacks in the last 5 games man I’m proud of these guys. – Maybe we are to the point where we are getting ready to turn this corner. - -The guys have to take positive out of this and run with it. - -I said this before the game and I’ll say it again for sure now. - - OKLAHOMA IS NOT THE NU 3 TEAM IN THE nATION -their just not. - -Great job guys I’m still really proud of you today - -you showed up, good to see the fans getting into it only gonna get better

  • Legal forward pass or handoff or whatever I guess because the runner’s entire body hadn’t broken the line of scrimmage.

But the play should have been blown dead as forward progress had been stopped. I mean the runner was moving backwards as the ball was handed off.

But they can’t review forward progress so OU ball. Don’t think the refs were going to let KU win that one even if they got the ball back.

  • Last year our OL gave up 9 sacks at Oklahoma -Today ZERO until the meaningless right at the end. - - We out gain them put up 412 yards of offense, had our 100 yard rusher dam dam dam msan I’m hot - -we had this game and got it taken away and NOT by the other team - -just flat sucks -the OL coming around 2 sacks in the last 5 games. Again OU had no answer for Lassiter. Bean moving the team down the field quick capping it with the Reaper ( Luke Grimm. ) WE got us some sweet receivers - - Grimm , Arnold.- - I am starting to see a light. - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • KU has some grit. This year is basically lost but bodes well for Leipold’s future here. Year 3 feels like the target line for real progress and wins.

Yes the guys do have some grit. I just can’t say enough how proud I am with these guys, I know there is no such thing as a moral victory but mercy. - they played their ass off today , and you got to see those pieces that we have talked about today Potter stood out - -Neal gonna be a stud coming around - -Grimm love this kid - - Arnold - - Our OL doing it’s thing getting a lot better - just so many spots getting closer my friend.

If we get beat by teams and legit lose then so be it. But to get beat this way is BS - -patience - - patience - -patience. Even though we got another Loss today I think tody is just the 1st sign that yes we do have the right guy to turn this around - we need to build off this even though was a loss - - a lot of things we can take from this and use in our favor

I agree because of of Leipold’s history, but KU seemingly has a game like this every year regardless of the coach where a good team comes in for an 11am game and plays really poorly because of a pretty dead atmosphere. Texas a couple of times, TCU seemingly most games, OSU has had some duds in Lawrence.

How well can KU follow and build on games like this has always been the struggle previously.

  • @FarmerJayhawk my boys and I r going back and forth on this!

  • We’ve decided whistle should’ve been blown, forward progress was stopped! 1st down good guys!

  • @Texas-Hawk-10 True. I also think Oklahoma just isn’t very good based on their results. They seem like a candidate to get smoked in the playoff if they get there but I could be very wrong about that.

    Smart family! Totally agree.

  • Anybody see the bad call on isu?

    Hmmm

So this is telling me is - -yes yes once again we were right the ball should of been turned over to KU

I’ve thought from day one - -after watching -they ARE NOT the # 3 ranked team in College Football , no saying that just because of today - -saying this from watching them in other games just looks like an over rated team. More like a 6-7 rated team

I was saying that too, when Rattler was starting. Had he been the starter today, OU would’ve lost. But man, I’d put Williams up against anyone. And he is a true freshman!? He needs to be in the Heisman converstation.

  • I’m a whiny fan!

🤡 ref on that one. Absurd.

OU’s not going to make the playoffs. I don’t see them going undefeated. The playoffs are probably going to be Georgia, Cincinnati, the Big 10 champs, and I’ll say either Alabama I they win the SEC or Oregon if the Ducks run the table and Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC title game. Oklahoma and Oklahoma St. probably end up cannibalizing each other at the end of the season.

You know I’ll admit, have always kind of liked OU in football due to their proximity and our being too hit and miss and in most years just downright sucking in football - and I lived in Oklahoma for a time during the Switzer heyday, Boz and Jamelle, etc. That being said though, even if they do go undefeated - they better have some statement games real quick like (and it can’t be all Williams) - I would still be kinda iffy on them deserving to be in the CFB playoff.

  • I’ve got mixed feelings about OU football. So tired of them being one of the conference “haves” to our “have nots,” so I won’t miss us having to play them every year.

Then again, I discovered I’ve got ties to Sooner tradition. My aunt married a guy who played QB at OU in the 1920s. He never talked about it, so I didn’t find this out until years after he passed. (Sure enough, his only win as a starter was against the Jayhawks.)

  • @nwhawkfan It’s not just the Big 12 of course. I’m also a BIG fan and tired of OSU. SEC pretty darn tired of Alabama, ACC tired of Clemson, and well the entire nation is tired of Notre Dame!

  • @wissox that makes sense. And it does get old seeing those same teams in the playoff every year.
