      @ROCKCHALK2025

      Might as well try to win on a Friday since our Saturdays have sucked in consecutive weeks.

          Would it be safe to say that these next two games are absolute needed wins ?- -How will Jay Hawks Nation be lit up at the Phog tomorrow night ? or will they sit politely and look on like a tennis match .

            @ROCKCHALK2025 dang it. Now I can not watch them on Friday instead of not watching them on Saturday.

              Certainly safe to say. They'll be lit up to start against the fierce rival and ISU might be overconfident. ISU currently sits at only a -3.5 favorite and that's because of the Phog.

                @BeddieKU23 I think we are pretty much already out of the B12 race but a couple of home losses this week and the NCAA tournament becomes a question mark IMO.

                  @kjayhawks2.0

                  Here's why I think the ship has to be fixed now, this week.

                  Self has the most ridiculous record in games after losses. Games held in Allen after a loss. Record against top 10 teams at home under Self. I wish had all these stats handy with data to back just to drive it home further. He's damn near unbeatable in these situations and if this team was playing better would be favored by a touchdown. He's been the king of the bounce-back his entire career here.

                  So, tomorrow is the most important data point in this season in my opinion. We have an undefeated team coming to town with our back against the wall. They are in just about every facet of the game, better than us. They have players that are bad matchups for us, and they shoot the 3 really well. They are probably 10-15 pts better than us on matchup. Can we Bridge the gap? Of course they can. The house should be cooking as long as the team gives them a reason to do so. Peterson, if you are this proclaimed, 'top draft pick', you got to set the tone for this team. There should be a lot of motivation for this group. That's why this game matters a lot because Self teams almost always respond in these situations and if they don't I know this season is in real trouble.

                  More than anything tomorrow I want to see a team that looks prepared to battle. We've seen very inconsistent stretches in all 3 conference games. West Virginia didn't have a single high major player in their lineup and made us look bad in the 2nd half. If they lose tomorrow, I don't want it to be from a lack of effort/preparedness. Time for some of these high paid people (coaches/players) to earn their keep.

                      @Tallturd1 And on another note , something I find interesting kind of amusing ?- -Even with the hard time we have had in Morgantown - -win they win they ----STILL storm the court after the game is over , so not all our tradition has worn off, cause when hey do that actually it detracts from their win-- what they don't realize they need to act like they have been there before

                        Been pondering on this ever since Saturday, question been tossing around in my head but decided to wait a spell before I brought it up.. I think the REAL question becomes is Darryn REALLY helping this team as much as we were hoping for ? I mean I look at it like this if you look back at the start of the Season and a little after example Flory was playing some really good ball, where was Darryn ? he was side lined and sitting out on the bench because of these medical issues. Flory now lately has been declining since Darryn has been playing some more-- -Same with Bryson , he neve has been that consistent but better before now looks lost. Melvin ?-- we have seen Melvins difference when Darryn was in and then out, Here is a lot of what I think is contributing to things. Bottom line is when Darryn is on the floor the other players aren't moving without the ball there is little flow the rest are just standing and waiting fo Darryn to make a play,- -the offense is choppy

                        I think it would be pretty interesting to compare Melvins- - Flory---Tiller-- and others point production when Darryn is on the floor compared to when he is off the floor.-- I think he is actually detracting from the team. The guys are having trouble trying to find some consistency- --they don't have any idea when Darryn is going to be on the floor and then when he is not-- that's not fair to others.- -Let's look at this when Darryn was out for extended periods of time our others knew what they had to work with--- -Tennessee we won- --- Syracuse--we won- --Norte Dame--w won-- then couple of ocher. lesser knowns --we won

                        Look bottom line is we have to have our five BEST players on the floor at the most critical time of the game we just can't afford to have our best player sitting out , they got to get this figured out like now/yesterday- -we can't keep going like this, --So the real question becomes would we be better off just shuttin Darryn down for the est of the season or continue with this mess, He shuts down , the others know for sure what they have to work with..- Maybe not the strongest team but then again I think w would have the continuity, have some flow and I think we could challenge some of these teams.- -Would be interesting to see how it played out maybe

                          I agree. This week is pretty much the season. I had high hopes.

                          All I know is I never ever want to see another KU player using a massage gun on his poor sensitive thighs, sitting on the bench, chilling out, and watching his team fight. Sorry. I'm pretty much done with the dude. If you can't play because of your cramps, go to the locker room and weep into your pillow stuffed with millions of KU booster bucks. He's probably going to be an amazing NBA player. Freak talent. But, I just don't think we are ever going to see it here. Could have been a contender. In the long run, this team was better off without him.

                          Just my opinion. He can change my mind ANY TIME any time he shows some grit (tomorrow maybe) and plays a whole game.
