Tejas (or El Tigre?) game thread

Sure
-
Flop
-
U can’t do that
-
No touching the ref Shaka
-
Shaka looks like a 10 year old kid. I always wondered why he shaved his head
-
Can’t buzz the buzzer
-
I’m sure
-
@DanR He looks better with hair. And a mask.
-
Well at least he put his mask up before breathing on the refs neck
-
Good half
-
Bilas shut up, you duke guys love moving screens more than life
-
Best half of the season and its not even close
-
All things considered thrilled to be up 11
-
So that’s what it looks like when an offense functions. Good to know.
-
Up by 11 with Dave on the bench? Fine by me. Unleash him Bill
-
worries me that Dave plays better when he’s kind of tired, but we’ll see how this goes…
-
Extremely enjoyable. 23-6 run just took their momentum and gutted them. Beautiful.
-
All the excuses for Baylor

Dunks. Run outs. Haven’t seen those all year.

BRUUUUUUUUCE would do us a huge favor if they could beat OU tonight.

I like going small tbh. Texas is big, but their bigs probably aren’t good enough to bury us with scoring. I mean Sims only averages 8 points per game on the season.
In Lawrence, we had trouble penetrating on offense and rotating on defense because Texas’ guards were so quick. Going small seems to have helped that some. Texas has also missed some open looks, but we look faster.

Garrett sitting quite a bit towards the end with two fouls too- -that has to be a positive No McCormack - -No Garrett and up 11 long way to go though
-
@KirkIsMyHinrich Attribute that to Coach being Coach
-
Lot better job of defending the 3. Did everyone see those stats where we ranked 1st in Big 12 play lie 4 different cats - we rank 1st in a lot of defensive area’s
-
Looking at the numbers from the Baylor game, Iowa St had twice as many fouls, and only shot 5 free-throws. I didn’t watch the game so maybe they were all legit, but that seems to have been the difference in the game.

Bryce has been able to create a bit which is nice.
Noticed not many turnovers for KU. I believe just 4.
-
We are dangerous. I wouldn’t want to play us right now.
-
Kinda wish ISU didn’t give Baylor a game tonight. Keeps them from getting too cocky going into Saturday.

gonna say that’s probably the best 1st half I’ve seen all year by far - - but still a long 2nd half not comfortable yet

Someone email Bill or something.
-
Y’all we scored over 40 in the first half. Anyone have stats on the last time that happened?
-
@benshawks08 first TCU game this year I believe.

ya taking pretty good care of the ball just hope trend continues
-
@BShark Seems obvious to everyone but Bill. To be fair, Texas should be using their bigs better than they are.
-
@jayballer67 all 4 were early and then none in the last 10 minutes.

They could be lobbing to them whenever they want.

-
The last 4 minutes was full of Baylor reffing
-
I thought I heard some #Jayhawks fans there. Anybody else hear that?

Baylor keeps their perfect season alive, and Iowa St fans are glad that Prohm didn’t get a win. Everyone’s happy I guess.

Iowa St didn’t want it. They got hosed on a few calls but generally they just didn’t have a guy that could step up and make a shot.
