Ochai smooth

We should have had 12 players in double digits scoring
Would be tough since we’ve only played 11 guys, but I get the point…
-
Only 11 players… I keep thinking Braun is a walkon
-
That was just a great make by Washburn
-
Um…CB…wyd
-
Tyon so hurt he can’t dunk, and trust me he is a DUNKER when healthy.
-
Great pass on the next possession
-
TGF knows how to get sneaky backdoor buckets
-
Has Washburn scored any points yet?
-
The next two guys that can make this team better are Bryce and Tyon. Both of them are fighting things.

Sometimes they make a lucky 3
-
@BeddieKU23 I thought you were calling them “fighting things.” seemed a weird term of endearment.
-
Jossell and Teahan time!
-
Pitched battle for the rebound lead - 2 with 6, 3 with 5 and 3 with 4…
-
Ginger Teehan in the house
-
Tyon is hurt, Bryce still adjusting to the game
-
GETHRO CAN SCREEN
-
@BShark winner!
-
@BShark at this point a screen and a rebound is all we need from a big guy
-
@DanR Hopefully Bill likes what he is seeing, I think the kid has some tools.
-
Gethro can screen and foul. Perfect
-
Tyon should have made the easier pass.
-
Teehan with the fumble recovery
-
Maybe Bryce can hit a ft now
-
-
glad we didn’t spot them 35
-
Boom
-
Jossell can shoot, that was smooth.
-
I’ve got a student named Tyon and also one named President
-
Ichabods are tough on D - held us to 1 less than we scored on the #1 team…

If a team plays a game and it’s cheap fans don’t pay 6 bucks to watch it, did it really happen?
-
Well it was a game, can’t really get hyped about tonight like I said earlier ya he scored what tonight 17? - -doesn’t men by far he has got it fixed - it was Washburn , let’s see a show of hands how many here really DIDN T think that wouldn’t happen. So his out put doesn’t surprise me a lot. Might help some but still work to do.
I know this our defense has still got a lot of work to do. Way to many easy shots in close I’m sure Bill didn’t like that. - but it was a good workout and hopefully some guys can get going
Wilson & Oachi had good games again - -Harris was solid - so on to the next one
-
I will say this, I totally expected Dave to step up his game and do alot this season, and I was soooo wrong. It is quite apparent that Doke and Dot bigtime covered his flaws last season. Riding the freight train that we had going on last year it was easy for him to get lost in the cargo, but not this year. He needs to come off the bench for 10 or 12 mpg, that’s it.
-
Bryce sounds good in post game, mature and southern
-
PER’s after last night. A bit of “get well for several”.
Jossell making the case to start LOL
-
Post Game, Self said he was comfortable playing small with Jalen at the 5 because he guards before the catch. Then added that it’s not something they can do all the time but sounded promising that he’s comfortable going to that lineup going forward
-
This was my first time to watch this year and my main takeaway was being surprised how slowly Dave moved. Whether it was hustling up the court, or the slow reaction as his man blew past him, it was kind of painful to watch.
Yea I know that we were used to Doke, and yea I know it’s early in the year. But he’s a junior and I don’t see much upside besides him being tall.
Of course I’ve been completely wrong about guys before, hopefully I will be about him too! Maybe he can at least get in better shape and run harder. Small ball anyone?
Lots of diamonds in the rough elsewhere, tho, but we all know how much Bill likes his big men - must be hard for him too.
And since this is my first post his season, let me just get it out of system just this once and I won’t bring it up again… DAMMIT, WE HAD THE TEAM LAST SPRING TO BRING HOME THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND THIS COVID THING SUCKS BIG TIME.
Sorry for yelling, I’ll go back to quietly liking posts.
-
I want to scream too about last year
-
We all scream!
-
For Tom Crean?

Dave has not been good and is definitely slow but he hurt his knee and ankle against Kentucky so that can’t be helping.
