Calling it basically a draw. It was such a shitshow it won’t change anyone’s mind, both campaigns basically got the social media content they wanted, and that’s that. Only 6% of viewers said they tuned in to see who they were voting for, and I bet they all stay home. There’s no way you can watch that raging trash fire and think either one is up for the job.

there’s no equivalency here.For sure. I’m just looking at it from a raw, campaign perspective. Neither was trying to convince anyone to vote for him over the other guy. My honest opinion is both were trying to depress the opposite base. If you were Trump your goal was to convince voters that Biden wasn’t up to the job, was corrupt, and insufficiently progressive. If you were Biden, your goal was to bait Trump into boorish, without grasp of the issues, and callous to the country’s suffering. I don’t think either even hit a triple. Guessing those that tuned in to decide on who to vote for are now staying home. Which, on balance, is good for Biden.

IF I had to give credence to the debates:
I thought a tie goes to Biden for the fact that Trump set Biden’s expectations so low. Calling him a dementia riddled idiot who can’t string to words together much less last 90 minutes in a debate sort of put Biden’s bar super low. To the point just finishing it without a major slip up gave Biden some points.
Like if you were on the fence with Biden because you thought he couldn’t hang, I don’t see how last night wouldn’t change your mind on that. He was coherent and clear basically all night. Minus a couple of tongue slips which could happen to literally anyone. The green new deal part for instance.

It was physically draining to sit through the entire debate. After, it was impossible to not question why the 30%+ of our country hate so much. They are taught to be that way and are teaching future generations to hate more. We can’t let them get any of us to give up. I am more enthusiastic about early voting in person, even though I am compromised, than I have been in my over 50 years of voting. Don’t let him drag us backwards. #Vote

So we really have some great choices for our leader this time. - -On one side we have the Democratic side with Smokey Joe ( the Challenger ) - -saying that Trump was/is in Ka-Hoots with the Russian government tainting the election. - - Then you have the Republican side with the current President Ol Donnie - blaming Smokey Joe with being involved with the Chinese Government for personal Gain.
Some really SWEET choices/decisions. - -just for once would be nice to find a President that can and would be willing to work with & or for OUR Government.
I swear if Donald duck OR Goofy was running I’d be really tempted to vote for either one of them over these clowns. - No wonder we are in the mess that were in. - -just two more in a string of bad decisions

@jayballer67 don’t be fooled. The biggest problem with Joe is he’s old and not a terribly charismatic or dynamic person. Trump is the crook here with the shady dealings. Any comparable shady business on Joe is simply a fabrication. There is no equality here on character. It’s fine to not agree with Joe on policy, but on character, don’t fall for it. Pretty good guy vs shit.

One guy was investigated and impeached for quid pro quo in Ukraine. The other was investigated and absolved of any wrong doing related to his son in Ukraine. What you are believing if you think these two are equal in character is straight out of Trumps mouth, and the mouths of his enablers.
It’s not political. It’s a logic problem. Which one is the crook?
If one person is honest and the other person isn’t, they’d both be calling each other crooks, so how do you tell which is the crook?

In terms of illegal stuff, what has he done thats illegal? The Hunter Biden email stuff is unverifiable Ukrainian BS. It’s designed to make you doubt weeks before the election and in fact Giuliani didn’t pursue it before now because he realized it was trash. It had been offered to him by the Ukrainians last year, but he bought it now from the Ukranian as a last ditch Hail Mary. There is no verified substance there. Don’t buy into the hype man. This is the same sort of disruption right before the elections 4 years ago. Exact same stupid tired playbook.
Let’s just put this Clown to pasture and I’d say let’s see how much better we feel 4 years from now, but I really hope I’ll just forget to do so because life will return to some sort or normalcy with a normal decent human being as President.

Hearing him on tape saying the this disease is deadly at the beginning of the year, but that he doesn’t want to alarm the public by admitting it? Then contradicting scientists every step of the way to bolster that self serving narrative? That’s pretty clearly corrupt.
If you are going to write in, I wish you luck in selecting a qualified, decent person.
