Bill still hasn’t shortened the bench, we need run and pressure more with this group’s athleticism

We will struggle against teams that are able to dictate a slow, methodical pace. But otherwise, we are going to be competitive.

Jamari, Kohl and Elmarko can all help. It seems to be the plan to dictate pace with pressure and weve been able to do that

Don't undervalue the 3 clutch FT's to tie the game by DP
Elmarko 5 steals. Not sure when they happened but I'm guessing they fueled the end of 1st half comeback and end of 2nd half and OT too.
Melvin 18 points 8 assists, 6 RB and some really clutch moments down the stretch.
DP 13-15 FT's.
Only 7 bench points by Elmarko and Jamari.

That turned into a fun roller coaster game, and a nice win. DP played quality minutes, and is my vote for mvp tonight.
Surprisingly, the good guys win again.

@DanR At 4:38 they made a 3 to go up 15. We scored at 4:20 which started the comeback.

When we were losing with about 5 minutes Brian Hanni was mentioning KU fans were heading for the exits. Take away their season tickets!! Give them to deserving students!

I’ve never left a game early because it’s costs too much to do that. But I don’t blame them, this team just hung out for 30 minutes in a game that was 45. Like I said it’s too expensive to pay and watch a team give that little of effort.

Tiller played better than Flory all but the last 5 minutes and over time. I’d bench them both to send a message.

@approxinfinity you don’t have to bench the for the whole game. Start Mari and Mbyia, see how it goes for a few minutes. I feel Bill has gone soft on these guys nowadays, he probably has too but you don’t see him light into guys like he used to that’s forsure.

I’ll say this with Mbyia size and physicality, we prob don’t get down by 14 if he plays Florys minutes the first 35 minutes of the game. Flory literally did next to nothing for 31 of his 41 minutes.

@wissox83 ya right that wouldn't happen and there were ALOT of other people including on here thought we were cooked so actually so the ones at the game were no different then people here. Me included I apologize for some things I said in the game and apologize for it It is what happens when your a fan and you KNOW that this team should never be in this position. With them coming back like this just shows what they are capable of when they play Great win and like what has been mentioned this just migh turn this team around some - - -- just proves what they CAN do but they sleep walked through 3/4 of this game and not of ever been in this position in the first place,
Like I said I apologize for things said just a guy that gets wrapped up in the game and knows this team is better then that and it showed in the come back but not sorry for what was said at the time.
