Canāt shoot a lick.
-
I guess Tristan isnāt exactly Dennis Rodman. No nose for the ball whatsoever.
-
Good!
-
Havenāt read this whole thread yet, I assume someoneās already pointed out how obnoxious Bill Walton is?
-
Love Garrettās poise.
-
@chriz weāve gotten used to him

He definitely has his moments. Still learning a lot Iād say. Iām glad he is getting pt.
-
@chriz Yep. Finally had to mute him.
-
Like Braunās confidence!
-
BRAUN!!!
-
I seriously like Walton and partner better than sarcastic fran!
-
@BShark Did he say Braun was from Burlington?
-
I really like Braun and I hope he continues to have a role this yr
-
@Big-Clyde52 yes he did lol

Was just thinking the same. Keep him in in a game like this, let him figure it out.

Yep. Moved to OPKS later.
@DanR Heās correct actually. Well researched.
-
@BShark I stand corrected!!
-
This game has jumped the shark.
-
Braunās (lack of) defense will keep him from playing in big games.
-
Who do we okay tomorrow?
-
Play
-
@DanR Winner of the next game between BYU and UCLA
-
Giving Tristan a hard time tonight, but I should mention it looks like his effort is better. Just not his mind quite yet.
-
Give it a rest Chaminade.
-
Not going to cover mostly due to the walk-ons and sloppy general play late.
-
Next game will be tougher
-
Ou getting killed.
-
@DanR Yep. Not sure why we played the starters so long. Hope our legs hold up. Three games in 3 days.
-
I like our starters second half.
-
@Big-Clyde52 Situations like this are where we miss not having more available scholarship players (Wilson injured, Mitch RS).

Big 12 is pretty bad this yr.

Kinda weird seeing all those empty seats at Sprint Center.
-
@BShark I think Baylor might be good

They definitely are. We are too. Outside of thatā¦I think third place is really up for grabs. Iād bet on Tech but it wouldnāt surprise me if it was another school.
-
@BShark K State lost also. 3 for 13 from the line will kill you every time.
-
@Big-Clyde52 Yeah Iām not too surprised. Their elite defense should keep them in many games but their offense is extremely bad. Kenpom adjusted #170 offense with their schedule is a complete embarrassment. Plus their is the eye test which their offense fails abysmally.
-
Ok question , I talked about this before the game - -how I was not looking forward to having to listen to Walton for this game - -told you to listen just how he goes off and rambles on about whatever - -anything BUT the game.
So now that the game is over question is - - -Exactly out of a 40 minute ball game how many minutes do you think he actually talked about the game being played in front of him - -he is a absolute mess lmao. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
@jayballer73 Had to mute him several times. ESPN must love him. I feel sorry for his running mate. (Dave).
-
He does speak well of KU!
-
OU lose by 19. Be interesting to see how we do against team Haase next month.
-
@DanR Braun is from Burlington, originally. He and his family moved to Olathe so that he could improve as a player.
-
KU gets BYU tomorrow night. Cougars beat UCLA by 15.
The Hawks better show some perimeter D in the semis. BYU shot the lights out, especially from three.
Now, the good news: Walton wonāt be calling the game. (Bilas & Shulman).

just unbearable to me

PERās after the Chaminade Game.
Azubuike approaching 30, Garrett rising steadily, Enaruna drops after a tough game, Agbaji hopefully on his way back.

I watched most of the UCLA-BYU game, wasnāt impressed. The Bruins didnāt lose due to lack of personnel, they were just outhustled and outplayed, period. Iām not a big Cronin fan, wasnāt when he was at Cincinnati either. The guy can coach, no doubt, but the system is just, well, pretty damn boring. The time to poach some Cali players is now, now, now.
If we donāt beat BYU by double digits I will be very surprised. And, oh man, am I glad that Walton isnāt calling the game - Shulman and Bilas I like. Walton is, I just gotta say it, an out of his element weirdo. Man, but how old are those BYU guys anyway? They have one guy who is all but completely bald, Lol! I realize that they go on missions, but I thought they were for 2 years, not 20
-
@Marco I do think Cronin is a good fit. Boring basketball is right. Just north of UVA. But I think heās a winner. Will be interesting to see where that sits two years from now. And man, Bill Walton is a guy that is fun to listen to ā¦ for about 5 minutes. I donāt dislike the guy but I donāt like that messing up my hoops.

Agree on Walton, too many whimsical life/political points to my liking. āNewsflash Mr. Walton, itās a basketball game.ā We disagree on Cronin, though. I donāt think that style of play will translate well out west. But weāll see.

I told people - -Walton is just no good. - -he talks about everything other then the game.
Then like last night a guy makes a routine rebound and when he does say something itās like - - GREAT REBOUND - -what defense - -or how Chamanide running KU right out of the gym on ONE fast break LMAO
-
I find Walton entertaining in small doses.
