Chiefs!

  • Ugh! 🤮

  • That game is why the chiefs can’t be in the superbowl. That was pathetic on all fronts. Kelce looked a high schooler and a dozen penalties were killer.

I’ve said it’s going to be their Defense that kills them - -they couldn’t stop a cold against a team that runs the ball. - -Lucky for them not a lot of teams that run the ball anymore that much - -we saw the result when you come up against a team that does

  • Andy Reid also still has his issues with clock management that have not been taken care of. He mismanaged the last two minutes in Detroit last week in the first half, losing a chance to try for a TD, then mismanaged the last 3 minutes of the game last night (including that disaster of a run call on 4th and 1).

Reid is a brilliant offensive coach, but he does not handle decisions under stress well at all. We have seen this time and again, and I would not be surprised if we saw it again in January. He has helped Mahomes develop, but I question whether Mahomes can achieve his full potential with a coach like Reid.

  • Chiefsssss! What a catch.

  • Reek back hell yeah

  • Somebody better wire the Chiefs and someone tell them how to defend the run. - -Got that ass tore up last week by the run - -just ran it right at them - -and now again this week can’t stop a runny nose pathetic 4-5-6 yards a carry best wake up

  • The chiefs are wasting Mahomes’ prime years with a piss poor offense line and a laughable defense. The fact that these guys are making millions and are that ungodly terrible is hard to grasp. The honey badger was a big waste of money. Dude can hit but couldn’t cover a guy in a wheel chair.

  • Also the amount of penalties reflects on the lack of coaching and accountability. The same stuff that ran Reid outta Philadelphia.

  • Can we get our old Defensive Coordinator back? ( Who thought those words would ever be “spoken”? )

It’s called being undisciplined. they need to get this stopped , I believe it’s like the 3r4d time they have had at least 11 penalties .

However I was watching the Cowboys/Jets game and in the final minutes on One drive by the Cowboys - I count there was SIX straight flags on consectutive plays - - SIX - -from pass interference - -to holding - -and then players were bitching about the one where they thought there should of been one on Dallas 2 point conversion attempt that would of sent it into over time that WASN’T called -SIX straight flags - -that’s not football - - that’s a joke.

  • @jayballer73 I personally think there have been far to many weak penalties this season as a whole. Then they miss obvious PIs and dont overturn them. Complete waste of time to review something that they wont change.

  • The issue is on the offensive line are at least mostly injury related. The defense is an all around joke. Houston and Ford were better than Clark and Hitchens have been doing. Zero pass rush and no ability to cover. I still think they win the division but the Pat’s, if the chiefs even make too them will spank the daylights outta them.

was listening to the local sports broadcast/show here today - -exactly what they said. - They basically right now this Chiefs team is not a very good team. - -like you said ZERO pass rush , can’t stop a runny nose against the run - - secondary can’t cover - -in a nutshell – the Chiefs defense - - - SUCKS - - -like they said to - well this week anyways , these guys that are running for 100 yards plus against them - -aren’t exactly household names running backs - and your going to see a steady diet now of teams running the ball at will until KC can prove they can shut it down.

The o line is not protecting PM - -precisely why he now has a bum ankle - -other teams getting pressure on him a lot more - - like you said/ this sports program said - - if NE and KC played today – it would be ugly

  • Andy Reid should be fired tomorrow. His decision making the last 2 weeks have been laughable. Then tonight he decides to run a QB sneak with an already injured QB with a lead in the first half. There isnt a word harsh enough to cover just how insanely idiotic that is. This season is done for KC, Carter Stanley is better than Matt Moore. Chiefs fans better pray because Mahomes may never be the again after that injury. I’ve seen it too many times unfortunately.

  • @kjayhawks what injury is it?

  • We don’t know 100% yet. There is a chance he could be back this season. In which case KC should trade for another QB. Newton and Mariota could be available.

  • @BShark @Crimsonorblue22 he at the bare minimum dislocated his knee. 98% of the time you tear a ligament when you do that and sometimes you never get back your full capabilities with that knee.

  • Know more tmrw w/mri, they don’t think it’s fractured. Dislocated kneecap

    No fracture confirmed.

  • @BShark ligaments are the issue IMO. I’ve had 2 teammates that had the same thing, one with a torn MCL and the other with a torn ACL. Google it, as I said a very very high percentage of dislocations tear something. If not Andy Reid may have saved himself being the least popular man in the midwest.

What about Andrew Luck? Any chance on him pulling a Brett Farve?

  • @rockchalkwyo @Bshark why in gods name would anyone alive trade for cam newton. May as well sign Kaepernick, same type of player with the same circus.

  • @kjayhawks maybe we could get Carter Stanley.

  • This game just proved what everybody knows and nobody wants to admit:

Offense puts butts in the stands, Defense wins games.

  • @nuleafjhawk been saying for 30 years.

    Need someone besides Moore.

  • Nice to see the defense show up. Makes me feel a little better in case Mahomes is down for more than a couple of weeks.

  • @BShark I agree but not Cam, I’d rather have RG3 or Bridgwater if Brees returns.

  • On a side note how the heck does John Elway still have a job? The Chiefs had 5 starters out, 2 defensive subs and Mahomes goes down early. They still get smoked at home. That’s the most embarrassing loss in Denver history at home and overall outside of the Seahawks in the superbowl.

  • They are not going to trade for another QB. It will be the Matt Moore show until Patrick gets back.

They showed a graphic of all the QBs drafted under Elway. Not exactly a stellar bunch.

  • @kjayhawks people should start listening to you.

    I know but uggggh.

  • They need to get someone. I think they said Sherman is the emergency QB?

Ironic, since Mahomes was doing what they should have had fullback Sherman doing on that 4th and 1.

  • @BShark hi

No ligament damage. Chiefs medical staff did a great job properly resetting his kneecap quickly.

he still gonna be out awhile

  • AP source - said he escaped big time damage to knee. - -they were able to re set his patella on the field.

Said the chiefs haven’t released timetable for return - - BUT source says could be 3 weeks but looking like also could be 4-6 weeks

  • 4 to 6 weeks, unbelievably lucky. I’d go with Moore til the bye week in 4 weeks.

  • I was the QB of my undefeated intramural flag football team from 1979 - 1982. I’ll give it a whirl. If the price is right !! I mean, I ain’t giving these undefeated services away ya know…

  • That’s why u wait to see the results of the mri and the 2nd opinion.

  • I’ve noticed how big the injury news is on a national scale. Even out here on the coast all the local TV/radio sportscasters (usually a pretty pariochial bunch) had it as one of their top stories.

Can’t recall a pro athlete from Kansas City with this much national clout since George Brett.

  • @nwhawkfan MVP and breaking all kinds of records, plus super nice guy! He does a lot of work for charities! All of his cereal sales goes to his charity.

  • @Crimsonorblue22 Not surprised to hear that.

In fairness. lots of NFL players (and pros and other sports as well) do plenty of charity work.

Something to think about the next time we rant about “today’s spoiled athletes”.

  • He’s “the guy” in KC right now for sure.

As far as athlete salaries, I think they are fine. They are making even more for the owners. I always suggest to people that think they are overpaid you can always go to a TBones game for cheap or watch intramurals. Lol.

Your team probably had a better offensive line.

The hiatus for Mahomes gives our O line a chance to heal before he comes back. Moore might get beat up, so we should sign about 4 interim guys.

I already pointed out one irony of PM’s injury. Here is another: How many of us going into last night’s game were more afraid of Mahomes getting hurt by a dumb coach than by a series of sacks like he suffered through in last week’s game?

  • The QB sneak is about the safest play in football. Fluke injury.

I would not be surprised to see Mahomes back in time to get a few snaps for the monday night game against the chargers on Nov. 18. Then take a couple weeks off for the bye. But, seriously, the chiefs have to get at least one more QB on the roster for the next month. Sherman is the backup? Moore’s entire college and pro career is based on going in to sub for injured starters when NOT INJURED HIMSELF. He’s no iron man. Chiefs need another actual QB.

Moore had couple good passes yesterday, and I have nothing against the dude, but the guy does not look to be in the peak of conditioning. Is he capable of even going four quarters?
