Wasatch Academy has another guy on their team worth monitoring. He was a blur with the ball, their PG Mike Sanders. He’s Devon Dotson quick with the ball. Defended Cole Anthony well. Has a 6’7 wingspan. Not a great shooter at this point but he’ll rise from his current rank #228.

Give me 6 players - combination of top 100, jucos and grad tranfers - and I’d be happy. Hell, such a scenario would help us in the long run, would be (i.e., stayers rather than goers) a foundation class.

I know this kid has been mentioned on here before. - -Caleb Lohner 6"7. Just seen a 10 minute video on him ya I know high lite BUT man like has been said not really sure if we are putting in our time with him or not BUT.
The kid can flat out stroke the ball. - He Can catch and shoot - - he can shoot it off the dribble - - - he can finish at the rim - can really stroke the 3 ball - - - - -Decent handles - -Only draw back I can see is he DOESN’T have Garrett’s shooting form lmao - - just kidding.
Thing is hearing he is more likely Mormon - -probably a BYU recruit - but sure the hell doesn’t hurt to put out feeler’s Can’t hurt - - you don’t show any interest - -you sure the hell aren’t gonna get anyone. – Worth a shot. - Oh Ya and has really nice hair lmao. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

This one will end up at a Power 5 school I believe. Baylor put in some work early with him but I see his versatility being coveted by others. He played well on TV a few weeks ago against Oak Hill. Much better then Enaruna showed

It’ll be official. He’ll be 19 during the 2020 draft year so it’s possible assuming his grades are in order.

KU was watching Jalen Suggs, Maddy Sissoko, Daron Holmes Jr, Karim Mane among others this past weekend in the 20 class. I know I missed a bunch they were everywhere

That’s what I was going to mention. - I was going to say hope we weren’t losing track of Brown , I know he is interested in KU some things mentioned about Brown from the past weekend playing in the EBYL:
Greg Brown , 2020 class - - - PF 6’9 plays with the Texas Titans: - Has the size , length and athleticism - -becoming a more well rounded player - - ELITE level rebounding , he is developing his handle and Jumper. – Numerous times faced up his man and through a combination of dribbles then step back pulling up from 18 ft. - Had a game 24 points and 14 rebounds - -shooting – 11-15 from the floor with 4 jumpers.
Bill is getin after it - would be sweet to see him come in the year after RJ leaves - -just let that tide roll. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Not sure this is any different then any other year with Coach hitting the road. I’d assume this is an open period for contact with recruits. Maybe he’s changed his approach some? Getting to see some priority targets before the AAU season leaves most of these kids too busy is never a bad thing.

Some yikes news on Caleb Lohner from the same poster with the RJ Hampton info re other players on RJ’s AAU team.
“The only player of significance is Caleb Lohner, who recently transferred to the same school that Enaruna goes to in Utah. Lohner’s dad makes Marty Frankamp look like a saint. Tom Izzo point blank told the dad, “if you are going to bad mouth his high school coach, then he can’t play for me,” and quit recruiting him.”

Sounds like Bryce Thompson has blown up this Spring. I’ve seen a lot of articles about how much he has improved. I really hope Self and the staff are prioritizing him. Looks like a lot of new schools are recruiting him now.

He’s always been good imo. Hope this doesn’t end up like Sam Williamson.
