BAD NEWS FOR DA BEARS
-
@BShark One TV angle showed our No. 19 spying in the middle of the field.
-
This is the KU football we all have come to expect, both lines getting beat like they stole something
-
KU needed that break to have some momentum.
-
48 yards of offense.
-
This is probably the worst run defense KU will see in B12 play this year.
-
The more things change the more they stay the same. Brewer is running like he is Forrest Gump. The offense for KU has a net 0 yards for the half and 48 yards passing. Baylor dominated the first half and if not for the 6 penalties it is even more lopsided. Barring a miracle KU will lose the game and it is…once again…headed for a 0-9 conference record. SMH.

@stoptheflop Welcome back to reality boys - -that’s the KU team we are use to seeing. – Their QB just lights up when he knows we are his next opponent - last year he ate us up - -this year just carving us up - -these guys have no answer. - Plus this is the 1st of many gonna load the box and we see the results – -SIX DAYS TILL BASKETBALL
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 ya a scoop and score there gives us some light, as bad as we played it could be worse. I feel like a 6 plays make it a 23-0 from what could be a close 17-10 game. It only gonna get worse tho, we can’t get new linemen at half time, just hope we can score and keep it under a 30 point loss.
-
At least KSUCK is getting hammered too lol
-
@kjayhawks That’s a good team doing that to them though. This is the 8th or 9th place team doing this to us.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 my tiny lil hope is gone. Teeny tiny
-
Would’ve been nice if the pass stuck to Loneker
-
I don’t like changing QB’s mid series.
-
Sims needs to ride pine, catch the GD ball
-
Pooka, the lone bright spot for the offense.
-
@JayHawkFanToo That play has been the lone bright spot.
-
Apparently this week in 1973, Baylor shut out Missouri in Columbia 27-0
-
I think I could’ve gained 10 yards with that hole.
-
Well we are winning the 3rd Q.
-
Penalties starting to add up here, no discipline
-
Sims caught a pass!!!
-
The offense is moving the ball some. The offense looks better this half.
-
I think Kendrick is hurt right now. He wasn’t in the huddle before this series and hasn’t been standing near the other offensive players. Carter Stanley also took off the yellow hat and headset and has his helmet on now.
-
Dumb play call on 4th down!!!
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 I agree. Two defenders waiting to make sure our receiver doesn’t make the first down. What’s the deal with all our plays barely beating the clock?

WVU is pretty okay at football.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 on the WR for not running the route 2 yards deeper
-
Old Dominion has tied Virginia Tech at 21. WHAT.
-
@kjayhawks That’s just a poorly designed play.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 I played WR, you have to know where the sticks are period
-
@kjayhawks I coach them, that was poorly designed route combination.
-
When we don’t force TOs, we really struggle.
-
@kjayhawks You rarely see KU receivers run routes past the sticks in those situations, that’s poor coaching and poor play design.
-
Nice block left guard
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 There isn’t a single aspect of KU football that is well coached.
-
Throw it down Feild good grief

Short answer, NO.
-
Turn on CBS Sports Network.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 if you don’t coach your kid to get to the sticks before he turns, I’m glad you don’t coach around here. I’d be running in practice for that.
-
@kjayhawks WTF are you talking about? Where did I say I don’t coach receivers to run past the sticks on those plays? KU receivers do that crap all the time when they don’t run routes past the sticks. That’s bad play design by the KU coaching staff and Doug Meachem in particular since he’s the OC and play caller.
-
CAN RYAN WILLIS SAVE VIRGINIA TECH?
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 you been chirping at me for saying he didn’t run the route far enough WTF is your point then?
-
Agree. Receivers should be always looking at the first down marker; positional awareness does not seem to be a priority.
-
The defense hasn’t done terrible thus far, getting shorts fields was a big key in the first.
-
For fans of atrocious football, which I assume is everyone still watching at this point: New Mexico State vs UTEP in just under an hour.
-
Defense has allowed over 400 yards and counting…not that good in my book.
-
@kjayhawks How many times do I have to say it’s crappy play design on KU’s part? This is the 4th time now I’m saying it was a crappy play design.
-
@JayHawkFanToo If you told me we let up less than 30 on the road in this conference, if it holds up. I’d be happy every week, the offense has been the big issue today.

I’m not disagreeing the play wasn’t right looks to me like you clearly stated the WR doesn’t go passed the sticks so which is it? Do you even what your saying buddy?
-
@kjayhawks I’m saying KU receivers do that all the damn time. If it was an occasional occurrence, then you could argue lack of awareness by the receiver. As much as it happens with KU’s receivers, that’s play design and coaching. I haven’t said anything different about it. I’ve said over and over that it’s play design and that’s a coaching issue, not a player issue.
