Bad break for Ben

Just read where one of our former boys Ben Heeny screwed his ankle up and going to be out the entire season for the Texans. - -He was a pretty tough guy sorry to see this happen. Can’t believe I think they said he has been in the NFL 4 yrs already?
Houston turned around and cut him but something about being able to be put on injured reserve - -just hate to see it. - Hope he can bounce back. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

He sat out 2 years ago too for an injury. Hope he has a degree, has 2 kids

@Crimsonorblue22 He’s made over a million so far. I think he’ll be ok for a while lol.

I hope he can come back. He’s pretty tough. His senior season at KU, basically I only watched the KU games to see him play. Hard to believe he was a running back at Hutch!

I met Ben and visited with him at the Spring Game a few years ago; hell of a nice guy. Hopefully he takes the year to heal and get stronger.
