Darryn Peterson

from some other podcasts I've listened too on Darryn's situation and which I totally agree with- ---it.s now become where Darryn himself has zero to very little to say in this thing anymore. I said this awhile back This thing has turned into a joke , it's all being ran ow by his camp- ----agents--- parents etc. Coach Self is/has been frustrated ,getting tired of being asked the same question over & over & over
The podcast I listen to a lot is called the field of 68 after dark.- - Usually is a panel of like Jeff Goodman ---Rob Hummel- --Randolph Childress, and some others They has another guest on last time and he said what KU needs to settle this is a resolution being like look- -like it all comes down to either at this point IS either Darryn plays or not. Either yes he does , or not he doesn.t . - -Get it settled, it.s not fair to KU- -it's not fair to KU's other players just make the decision so KU can move on, this not knowing is getting tiresome,
As far as it ends up for me , I think is he may try again once more , play s bit and the parents & agents will shut him down -we MIGHT see him in limited time once or twice more

@BeddieKU23 Does he really get a $50 million nba contract if he can't play a single college season due to recurring injuries? IMO, his NBA stock drops every day that he doesn't play.
-
Whats ewally going to be interesting is after he starts ro play in the NBA his cramps magically disappear , and he magically has no more problems in the future
-
@ROCKCHALK2025 I would predict that as well.

@approxinfinity You might consider taking down this thread. No sense spending time talking about mythical characters. Or at least start a thread exclusivly FOR mythical characters.

@nuleafjhawk Man, you're relentless

@approxinfinity go big or go home!

To me when Self started talking about the parents wanting him to be 100% before he plays was a little bit of him calling them out for such. Iโm willing to bet his parents learn a very hard lesson once he signs an NBA contract, they have zero say in what goes down from that point forward. Ainโt no NBA team listening to that noise, Iโve been told Carl Henry learned that same lesson pretty hard once upon a time. Obviously heโs a much better player than Henry but with how some of the other freshman are actually playing Iโd be shocked if he goes number #1 playing so sparingly with the side show circus.

The first pick is worth that. He is still trending to be the first pick currently despite this saga. He has been heavily scouted.
Now, there should be healthy criticism about these injuries and whether they could slide him a spot or 2 in such a loaded draft especially if Boozer and Dybansta continue to dominate games the way they are.
It sure would be nice to see what the hype is about in a KU uniform

Has anybody tried offering him a banana?
-
@Jayblaze pickle juice? Anyone got pickle juice?

Did he have cramps during the summer?
