I didn’t know any of that.

@HighEliteMajor - -Great points. – I will never forget Clint. Like you pointes out also - -when a team has their backs against a wall - they can become like an injured animal – Lion – Bear what the hell ever - we shall see - -just time to strap them on and go play - -play it out - - Let’s do this. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Sick day today to watch the game! The post gave me hope!
-
@HighEliteMajor Rock Chalk!
-
I went into work 2 hours early so I can leave to watch the game. I’m not giving up. Still have four players that can out score most teams. I expect Lightfoot and De Sousa to be playing on pure adrenaline today, so expect both of them to play much better than usual. And, I’ll never count us out of anything as long as #4 is out on the floor.
-
It’s Garrett time.

-
@Kcmatt7 Me neither buddy - -never EVER count us out- - till the fat lady sings - - & I’m not seeROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABYing her even in the building yet lol. - – -

-
@BShark I predicted you would predict that. I have a knack for that kind of thing. I predict KU wins 74-71.
-
@KUSTEVE Jesse picked us
-
@Crimsonorblue22 I think we’ll beat the Cowpunks.
-
@jayballer73 Thanks, I am glad someone else knows who Clint is, I was feeling old there for a minute.

How could you ever forget Clint, play a big part quality minutes in THE GAME. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

If (IF) KU can hit hit their shots throughout the game at a normal pace, it should add to Jayhawk confidence while degrading the will of the Cowpokes. In the two KU losses, the OSU confidence could be seen (and felt) growing throughout the games while KU floundered around. In retrospect, the NCAAT losses to underdogs had much the same feel IMHO…
-
The line opened up as KU as a 3.5 point favorite, and has jumped up to KU -6.
-
The good guys by 6 now? A team that beat us easily at our house, beat us even harder at their house very recently, and our only real big injured and out this week, and the line goes up???
I know we are the better team, but what gives? Odds of pulling a threepeat against a HOF coach pretty low maybe?
-
@StLJhawk tough to play back to back nights too
-
Of course KSU TCU goes to OT…
-
@StLJhawk It’s a sucker bet for the underdog- they want people to bet OSU.
-
TCU is really good at missing lay-ups.
-
You would think the betting would favor OSU since it has beaten KU twice and Doke is out. Remember, Vegas likes the betting balanced.
-
@JayHawkFanToo All the money rolled in on Kansas which is why the line moved up to 6. Vegas doesn’t care who wins, unless it’s very lopsided one way. That’s why they moved the line up-because nobody believed that the Cowpunks could beat us three times in a row.
-
Guess the crowd sourcing people were right.
-
Vegas literally puts its money where its mouth is…gotta give them credit, they are much better at predicting than we are.
-
@JayHawkFanToo They just hustled a whole bunch of gamblers on that one. I’m sure it looked like easy money- osu had won 2 in a row against us…doke was out, and the line grew from 3.5 to 6. what’s not to like? Pure sucker bet…lol.

@HighEliteMajor Toga ! Toga!
-
@HighEliteMajor Very well said.

Really, I view this as a huge positive and posted so on another thread.
All the team has to do is play two weeks without him; that is NOTHING for this team, if its shooting well.
This weeks means nothing; that’s one week.
The first round of the March Carney is nothing, if the team shoots well.
Don’t really see ANY issue at all.
Two weeks of hydrotherapy and and some stretching and Doke’s back to dunking.
The team will get a boost.
On to the ring.
Unless they are fibbing about the degree of injury.
P.S.: And I like the allusion to Rambo in the original!!! Bill “Dick Crenna” Self just walked John out of the carnage of the first game past the sieging NG and police, and now we are ready for Part II, where Rambo shoots the rest of the Big 12 Tournament to pieces; then Rambo goes into the first weekend of the Carney and takes them down one by one knifing all the opponents in the thighs before opening up from trey with belted M-260s blazing.
Stay alive till Doke revives!!!
