Where is the young Mr. Young in 3 pt. %? Sorry for the duplication’s, I’m old.
-
If KU wins the B12, the entire KU starting 5 should be first string All B12.
-
Mo Bamba with 4 blocks per game! Yeeesh, what Bill Self would do to get a shot blocker like that on his team.
The uber elite shot blocker is one of my fav types of players to watch, it was so exciting when Withey was getting 5+ blocks during some games, rooting for him to get the KU record was a fun year.

I believe Saturday will play a big role in who gets the POY, who leads their team to a victory in the biggest game of the year?, if Evans is able to go. At this point I’d give it to DTG, Young is a solid player and averages more points and assists than DTG, shoots about 2% better from the floor and ft line. But Graham shots better from 3, has a better assists to TO ratio (averages less than half of Young’s TOs), Graham could prob average just as many points as Young if he shot the ball 8 more times a game as Young does. Evans is a solid guy too, probably the best defender of the 3 but he lags behind in assists and rebounds to the other two. He shoots the 3 at the worse percentage tho he has shot considerably less than both Young and Graham. Obviously Evans is important to Tech as they have lost the last 2:with him out or not at a 100% but I believe KU has been outscored by nearly 40 points when Graham is off the floor. KU probably doesn’t compete very well without him on the floor. He is the most important player to a single team in this conference hands down IMO. Graham is in the top of more categories than that other two using the info above. I’d say Bamba easily wins defense POY with his 4 blocks and 11 boards a game.

It’s so exciting… Kansas and Devonte… the “sleepers!”
Ha. We’ve pulled it off! So many people took “the field” over Kansas. All we have to do is win on Saturday to wrap up at least a tie for #14! It’s down to 40 minutes of basketball… and our guys are psyched! We are playing our best basketball all year! Spiking up and still looking for our maximum peak! Devonte and our guys are fresh! And this team plays best on the road!
I smell a run!
RCJH!

@Buster-1926 just got back yesterday! Need to work a few days! No sleet in the forecast next week. We got it here last pm. No comments from the warm people!
-
@BucknellJayhawk3 Mo Bamba has 5.0 blocks per 40 minutes. Mitch Lightfoot has 4.5 blocks per 40 minutes. Amazing, isn’t it?
-
@HighEliteMajor Wow, the math checks out! Keep developing Mitch-y baby!
-
@wrwlumpy that’s a sweet clip. Let’s just win now. Surprise the nation!

I love good old fashioned stats. The youngsters are saying this and that about these non advanced stats and why this effective whatever is better or why you really need to look at PER. I would if I had a PHD in stats! But for me, these are good enough.
I like the stat that he has missed 52 shots from the field all year and missed 53 FT’s! Heck, I just looked, Trae Young has missed 60 SHOTS in the last 5 games!
