Ball Family

  • OMG. - -Not sure who else seen this, I just did. - -that wonderful station - -doing a whole big whoopee doo on these people - -About the Ball family and daddy - -my question is – -WHY? - - This has just gotten out of control with this idiot- - -And he is an idiot - -they have turned these ball boys into a circus. I just can’t believe this crap - - leave it to ESPN. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer54 I didn’t quite get it myself. Why? Yes the Ball kid at UCLA is doing good but they lost in the PAC12 tournament and finished 3rd in the regular season. I’m not sure I’ve seen this much attention for players that haven’t proved a whole helleva lot to this point. The dad is half the issue, no way Ball is better than Curry right outta the gate, maybe after a few years

  • @kjayhawks I know, I guess that’s what I’m trying to get at. - -I mean another thing is Lonzo’s younger brother, when he scored the 92 points right? - -After that IT WAS ON. - -ESPN just went all gaga over it. - - This kid is still in high school and they try and make you think that the Ball kids are the 2nd coming. As you said Lonzo - -any of these guys have PROVED NOTHING. - - I don’t get it, this has become a three ring circus with ESPN and this family. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • just a follow up - - Here we go - -Here we have on ESPN daddy Ball spewing off at the mouth on ESPN about how the Ball era is about to take over just rambling out idle BS total unbelievable, just rambling while these kids have done absolutely NOTHING, and dad making ridicilious statement about how better then Steph. - -Give me a fricken break. and what’s more unbelievable is ESPN airing this giving so much time to this idiot. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer54 and Bill Walton is all-over it all… It’s already a very tired narrative. Bout can’t watch a PAC game unless it’s muted. UCLA, UCLA, conference of champions, Ball, Ball, Ball, UCLA, conference of champions, Lonzo Ball, yada yada yada Ball

    Oh and also… Ball

  • @cragarhawk LMAO, I’m feeling ya 100% - - -My point exactly. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • Unless of course, UCLA wins the tourney, then we’ll never hear the end of it. Crossing my fingers for an early exit for them.

  • Walton drove me crazy the past days.

But… thumbs up for Walton calling out Lunardi on Gonzaga. They are a fraud in a crummy conference. I hope they get stuck playing WSU… The Shocks would shred this team.

  • @drgnslayr yeah that was great watching Walton talk to him. Honestly, I don’t think Gonzaga would beat Arizona right now. They have Trier and Cartwright back and Markannen has improved a lot. They are relying on early season wins but some of those teams have improved. Heck, the way Iowa State is playing they would probably win a rematch.

  • @HawkChamp

Yeah… as much as I hate to say it… Arizona is playing pretty good ball. Trier is a freak! He is “all out” and he is a tricky guy. He definitely has some Marcus Smart in his game. He likes to flop to the point of being fraudulent. But he is a great player with a lot of talent. He has made Arizona a much better team. They are on the rise.

  • @drgnslayr

Trier is a very selfish player and it is going to cost his team dearly, probably at the worst possible time…or he could be the hero…

  • Stumpy used to look like just a crooked accountant.

Now Stumpy is trying to play the part of a punk tough guy. Anyone see him taunting the referees, like he was wanting to fight them end of the UA game?

Stumpy needs a serial technical (3-4 in a row) to turn him back into a cry baby accountant.

  • @jaybate-1.0 and call a timeout w/1 sec left to be vindictive or be a di–

  • @jaybate-1.0

Sean Miller can flat out coach. Arizona is playing the best basketball and has to be consider one of the favorites.

  • Ball Family = Kardashians of college bb.

  • @jayballer54 I have zero problem with the way he raised his sons to play basketball. I am not a fan of the way he interacts with the media. At some point parents should take a step back and enjoy watching their kids play and just encourage them and wish them the best.

  • @KansasComet

    Amen to that!

  • @JayHawkFanToo

Yeah… I hadn’t decided if I thought Trier was selfish… or that Stumpy just told him to go off as much as possible. Whatever… the kid can ball!

  • @JayHawkFanToo

But that doesn’t mean he isn’t acting like a punk with the refs.

And it appears he’ll likely pay for the way he acted to the refs in the game I watched very shortly during the Carney, unless the Carney refs are under orders to let him?

  • @brooksmd I think it smacks of Cam Newton. I wouldn’t be surprised if UCLA gets into some kind of mess because his dad pulls a Cam Newton.

I don’t care much about UCLA nor do I follow the Ball kid. I lost all respect for that program back in the Jim Harrick days. They hated the twins during our Pac12 challenge and Harrick showed his azz a time or two against KU.

  • @KansasComet Agree. - -I think that’s the problem I have. - -It just seems daddy wants to be the center of attention - - kind of look at me. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jaybate-1.0

Most every coach seems to act that way nowadays. Look at Huggy, he is always talking or should I say berating the refs and he is a great coach, I am not sure why you dislike Miller so much but don’t let it cloud you judgment about his coaching skills.

  • @jayballer54 You are too funny! I don’t know about you wanting too much attention, but I do know you are passionate about our Jayhawks!

  • @JayHawkFanToo wow look at Dixon! He was on the tube more than the players! Needs to whiten his teeth if he’s going to snarl so much

  • @JayHawkFanToo I don’t like miller either! That timeout was childish!

  • @Crimsonorblue22

Payback for what Alford did the previous game. Childish both ways.

  • @KansasComet Thread after thread after …

  • @jayballer54 This is Daddyball at the 2nd highest level … parents can be an enormous problem or even nightmare for coaches. Unfortunately many of us have experience with that & mine is not 😊 that good. Almost 25 years ago but vivid memories of a-holes doing what they do so well. Interfere.

  • The father is going to create big eligibility problems for the kids. Lonzo almost got in trouble because the apparel brand his father created, BBB, featured pictures of Lonzo on it web site, something the NCAA frowns upon. I wonder why the NCAA backed off on this issue.

Now, hos father is saying that the NBA will be even easier than college, and now NBA executives are concerned about the father and it might end up sabotaging his career.

  • @KansasComet Well I sure don’t need attention - -Ball daddy for sure looking for some though. - -I get all the attention I ever need plus some from my wife - - my 10 kids- -and ALL my grand kids. - -I actually probably got TO MUCH attention, that’s why I had 10 kids and like 20 plus grandkids. - -But the ONE thing you are right about I AM passionate - -VERY much so about Our Kansas Jayhawks - -sometimes to much, got a very quick temper too much so a lot of times - -when people start talking smack about KU or anything remotely about the University. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @JayHawkFanToo I Hear ya. – I read an article about daddy and the NBA. - One NBA guy said that once Lonzo gets his NBA money he will no doubt ignore lil mr game me fame spotlight daddy. - -glad my dad wasn’t that way, when I was entertaining my professional career in baseball - -My dad stepped back knew it was my choice - -my choices I needed to make- -BY MYSELF I was an young adult - I needed to make adult decisions. - -Oh I mean sure he was there for me when I asked but other then that- he said this was my time - -my future - -my decision. - -Mr Ball is like a bad dream - - HE NEVER GOES AWAY - -lmao. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer54 said:

10 kids and like 20 plus grandkids

Pretty good score for being only 31, like you said!

  • @JayHawkFanToo On the apparel issue, remember we had a guy who got sanctioned for a country music CD? Luke Axtell wasn’t allowed to market it until he was no longer eligible. Maybe the NCAA changed their rule.

  • @mayjay lmao - -ya 31 - - - 31 ya that’s right lol - -hell it’s been so long ago I can’t even begin to remember what that felt like lol. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @mayjay

They don’t want to jeopardize ticket sales just before the dance. They will probably declare him ineligible after the tournament and after he decides to go on the draft…🤑

  • @jayballer54

You did say you were 31…

  • @JayHawkFanToo I DID? - - When did I say that? - -ha, that must of been a real brain fade for me if I said that, if I did sorry - -I WISH , na actually no I don’t other then the days when these dam screws and this spacer they put in my back are acting up - OR when my dam knee is still acting up - -about 85 % sure going to have a total knee replacement now - -yippee. anyways no I’m not 31 , I’m going on 63 come August so I’m entitled to my brain fade lol. - - that’s how I’ve been through 10 kids and over 20 grand kids and working on great grand kids lol - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • Wait there’s more!!! (Like the flex seal guy). Just read an article in USA today sports that old man Ball said he would’ve killed Michael Jordan one one in his hayday. Lmao is weed legal in Cali? It must be…

  • @kjayhawks ya I was on another site and they mentioned this too - -Man he is getting chewed up and spit out. - some of the things being said

Example: - - one said when talking about Lavar: - - -Crack hell of a drug, - - -or guy is an attention whore, - - he says he wants a 10 yr ! billon dollar shoe deal for his family. - -People say funny they not seeing people lining up to buy his line of clothing, - -

Was brought up with his in genius Statement of Killing MJ in ball Mr Ball in 1987-88 was at Washington State - -averaged 2.2 ppg - -2.3 rebs - - - - - at the same time Jordan 35 ppg - -5.5 rbs per for the Bulls - -enough said. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LON G BABY

  • @jayballer54 20 Grand kids? Any basketball players?

  • @KansasComet LOL - - -MAYBE - if he turns out - -not even an option, he already drink - -sleeping - -and eating up EVERYTHING KU basketball - he is in eyeball deep with KU lmao. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • Yep… Daddy Ball… the promoter of his own urban legend.

I wonder if he is the guy who could dunk the ball with his feet? Have you all heard that one? That story went around back in the days of Dr. J. Dr. J really put a focus on the dunk and players going sky high. We didn’t have the internet and youtube… so I think it was easy for bs stories to spread.

I actually wasted time thinking about this and how it could be done. The closest guess I had was to do the flips like floor gymnasts do and somehow push up with your hands on the last flip while catching the ball with your feet and dropping it through.

Okay… I had quite an imagination back then… I’m sure Daddy Ball could straighten me out on how he did it!
