I feel bad for Pat. He played very well and kept his team in the game despite the officiating, the drops, and tbe bad o-line play. But he made one bad play. Then he gets a chance to rectify it, only for the Chargers to take him out with a dirty hit. Hopefully the GOAT makes a full recovery.

They have to get him someone that can catch the damn football. He hasnāt been great this season but half of his picks hit is receivers in the hands. @nuleafjhawk will still say itās his fault lol but they have to manage the roster better. They think because they won the superbowl 2 years ago with a great defense that they didnāt need to invest. They gave the wrong guys huge contracts and drafted poorly for about 3 straight years. It will likely take a few years to recover from. I honestly think Reid needs to stop calling plays at this point. His offense hasnāt been good for 3 years.

Until the a couple weeks ago Pat had MVP caliber stats. He has not been perfect but has been good. The best player on the team by far.

@Jayhawk_69 I agree and I would honestly ask for a trade if Iām him. They are now in salary cap hell with the huge contacts for Karlaus, Jones and Bolton. All 3 guys are top 3 in terms of pay for their position but Bolton grades out the highest at being the 13th best at his position in the NFL.

Watching this packers game and itās clear the chiefs either have terrible WRs or Reidās scheme is washed. Love is picking apart this Denver defense and heās not doing anything special. Heās just throwing the ball to guys that have no one within 5 yards of them. Itās easy pitch and catch, everytime I watch a game WRs get open just not the talentless ones in KC.

Hate to see a player like Mahomes tear his ACL. Hope he has a a speedy recovery and is ready for the start of next season.

Never good.
But this is the year to do it. He just needs to be able to walk in time for the wedding. (you know the one I'm talking about.)
Then come back next year and show everyone that this season was more of a fluke than all the 1-possession-wins last year.

@bskeet Problem is they got a lot of work to do this off season, They reeived a lot of attention from sports talk show from analysts-- talking about they better get some help to get a pass rush this year they really didn't have much other then when they sent five to rush. T

As a diehard Chiefs fan Iām good with Chiefs losing remaining games for a reset and higher draft capital next year.

Well the preview of what the team looks like without Mahomes went about how I expected. Iām not sure they can fix everything thatās wrong in one off season. There really wasnāt a position group that didnāt get man handled today. Which has been on par for much of the season but yikes the defense made Ward look like Brady today.

@Gorilla72 several of those guys have been out for weeks and they actually completed with Mahomes still in.

They also need a better secondary and pretty much every offensive line spot outside of Creed and Trey has been exposed this year.

Offensive coaches, RB1, RB2, WR1, TE1, 3+ dline, starting LB, probably some pieces in the secondary depending on what fas they keep and which they trade

@BShark right but is that doable in 1 offseason with the little amount of cap space they have? They must draft much better than the last few years and likely restructure several contracts including but not limited to Chris Jones, Patrick Mahomes and Nick Bolton.

@kjayhawks2.0 I don't think it is but it goes to show how many holes there are that Mahomes was helping mask. Next year honestly looks like a bit of a rebuilding year
