@kjayhawks No it’s not, KU has done this ever since Doke went down. Go on a mini spurt to build a 10-12 point lead, rest a little on defense for 3-4 possessions, build the lead up again, rinse and repeat.
This is how Self has been resting his guys without actually subbing them out ever since Doke got hurt.

Wish we wouldn’t have let them back in. Fast paced half tho. Did Frank get hit below the belt? He was bent over twice big time. Hope that he shakes off whatever it was.

@cragarhawk that’s the issue. They had a good first half against Iowa State then played poorly in the second half. They need to dig deep and find it.

I noticed how ESPN is starting the Duke UNC game at 7:15, you know so there’s less of a chance of messing up the start of their game. I hope our game goes to about 3 OT’s just to spite Duke/ESPN/UNC.

We’ve had more close out type games than OSU. Experience will be the difference. The guys don’t want a court storming. Haven’t had one yet this season.

Last year we were in the same position. And in a similar spot against WVU earlier in the year. Can’t let them go on a big run midway through the second half. Have to be tough and make smart decisions.
