Womens soccer 2026

Hot start had the ladies ranked 12th after a 7 Nil demolition of Miss. St. Went to Columbus today and played 19th ranked Buckeyes and lost a close one 1 nil.
Looks like they'll be a solid squad again this year.

3-1 record after a nice win over Kent State. Utah Valley out west and then home against Tulsa next Sunday. Should be looking at a 5-1 record in a week and a fairly high ranking.

OOOH boy, KU playing winless Utah Valley in Utah. Losing 2-1. KU 2 on 1 breakaway. 2 KU attackers against one goalie. One girl decides to not pass and shoots wide. Easiest goal scoring chance in soccer history. Bad soccer. Utah V go ahead goal because of very poor goalie play on KU goalie part.

Really embarrassing effort by KU last night. Ball in the KU scoring 3rd nearly the entire 2nd half and they put almost zero pressure on their keeper. I doubt they'll be ranked after this one.

Easier win yesterday. Still not sure about this team achieving the heights of last season.

@approxinfinity Not sure if you can change title of thread Soccer/Volleyball as their promising season has started. They've lost to Pitt and Stanford, national titleists in recent years so starting season with a bang.
