  I really doubt the staff adds a big man that is playable. It will sound like “duh” but if they add a big man, they are either basically an obvious and guaranteed starter or they won’t see the floor. They won’t add a “rotation” big man. Jmo.

  @benshawks08 I don’t think you base that off of the first weekend in March. Now if they make the final four? Would absolutely change seasons with them. If they lose to UConn I’d rather have our season. I think it should also be noted they were unhealthy for a fair chunk of the season. They are probably 3 or 4 type of club if they have a healthy roster all season. I like winning the conference but really don’t care too much in reality because everyone will judge the season on March right or wrong.

I think it begs to be said that Norm Roberts was soft in how he handled his coaching duties during the games. We have come accustomed to hearing Coach Self use that adjective to describe the team when they aren’t giving it their all. There would be no other way to describe Coach Roberts game demeanor than SOFT. And he didn’t step up to the plate when Coach Self and the Team needed him to tear into the players when they got off to a decent lead against Arkansas and then let them back in the game so Ark could gain their confidence. Very poor job by Coach Roberts. Lacked intensity, fire and sense of urgency. Soft. My only question to what you said is - - How do you know he didn’t tear into them? Was you there in the team huddle during that time? - -Just curious.

  @drgnslayr yes his rebounding the last few weeks has been solid. I personally like that Gradey will be in the Kansas record books as a OAD. That’s not an easy feat in this era of college basketball. I think he can drive home the nail on being the greatest OAD in KU history this postseason. To me only Jackson is in the conversation, it stinks Joel was hurt because I think he was leading us to a FF but that’s life.
